Just realise that my colleague is able to help me draft out in autocad and we have access to a cnc mill..Probably SS as well but not sure if we have SS316 around..

Still can heat treatment or electroplating..

I guess time for me to learn how to use that cnc mill..Well, at least the basic..

Just a quick update:

School machinery shop sucks..Need to go thru proper channel, endorse by my deputy director, submit online, project name before the machinist would even proceed..

Outside wise, hard to find someone willing to do locally for small quantity.

And so, i got my another colleague to help. He got his fren(Supervisor of the workshop back at his hometown university(India) to help me do. Pictures of it should be available next week so that i can confirm the drills and such..Using SS316..

I'm surprise as well..Probably becos he does that for a living..And it's clone in India..Cos my research colleague happen to have a friend who is working in his ex-uni as a supervisor for the machinery workshop.

Now the headache is to go source for the o-rings, polycarbonate tubes, nails, hex nut, washer etc etc..

This company Hypax Pte Ltd. has all kinds of o-ring available..

Used to buy replacement o-rings for pressure valve connectors from them, you may want to try your luck..

BTW, why not glass tanks instead?

Saw the Hypax coy earlier one..Do they entertain small quantity??

The last time I bought only a 20pcs pack from them, but you might have to go down to somewhere in jurong port rd to collect..

Glass tube with ss tube casing perhaps? or just ss tank? lazer etched design? polycarbonate cracks too anyway..

SS conducts electricity, with proper design, carbonized ss wick, top coiled atomizer.. could be a cool project dude..

If let's say i package the polycarbonate tubes, o-rings, nails, washer,some kanthal wires, nut but no ce2 connector, wires, mash..Unassembled..

How much would one be willing to pay?

Maybe you can copy the design of Rusalka, coz if you use the original design of dans scubagen, its a pain in the ... to assemble!, ive researched on those prior to getting the scubagen mini of rusalka, it would be better if it had the integrated 510 connection, im willing to pay $70-80 if thats the case,

Dude, IIRC the original genesis atomizer design and concept comes with a open-source license which allows freedom to admend and use the system, but strictly not for profit.. no commercial ventures will be allowed.

You might want to reconsider your revenue model, perhaps charge for the cost of material, shipping, and workmanship of the items instead..

Still gonna be the same process, but that could avoid the hell lot of legal issue with licensing..

I find the assembling to be fun actually...
