SD mk2 wall charger

The charger prongs are not long enough to make a connection. The only thing it works in is the surge protector under my computer. it is quite a hassle to get under there where there is not much light. can I fix this or what?

No I'm talking about the two charger prongs that fold out and stick in to the wall outlet
