I absolutely love the trifectas. I bought two of the original black ones, and one of the newer as blue. In that time I have lost all 3 to leakage from the cart to inside the battery. I am now using one of the manuals and one of the automatics I bought a while back. I am hoping that sealing the batteries is a possibility in the future? The trifectas are quite expensive to keep replacing, even though I love them deeply. I would love to just have a manual battery, sealed, with the ability to have the same plug in ability that the trifecta does. I greatly dislike having to take off my carts just to recharge.... I looove trifecta!

I am sorry to say it, but it looks like we will be discontinuing the Trifecta once the last few sell out. We have had too many quality issues with the manufacturer. Despite working extensively with them to improve, and even bringing in an outside quality control expert, they just have not raised their standards to meet our requirements or the rightful expectations of our customers.

It's a shame, but there it is. We gave the manufacturer every opportunity to improve, so we could keep bringing the Trifecta's unique features to you. But they let me down. I'm especially dissapointed that the successor to the Trifecta I have been working on, a big battery version with the same dual switch function and passthrough use, plus a 650mAh and a 3ml cartomizer, will likely now never see the light of day.

That's a real, real shame.
And you can't resume the project with one of your more reliable partners/suppliers?
I know it would take much longer to reach production but...

Perhaps a simpler design might be in order, perhaps?

I would really like to see a pass-thru manual battery, sealed. Or even a passthrough automatic battery, sealed. I reallllly reallllly reallllly like the ability to connect directly to the battery with a cable... charge it.. use it.. and take it with me. It's really an easy flow of use for the product. Something I have enjoyed immensely for the past year.

Having to disconnect and connect batteries to chargers is too much for my lazy bones. :)

That's a possibility, but the basis of it, before my modifications, was their own invention. And I have been opposing the rampant copying and IP theft in this industry. Too many people have seen their hard work stolen, from Hon Lik right on down. It needs to stop, and I don't want to contribute to it myself.

OTOH, of course, I don't want to bind myself with self-imposed restrictions that put us at a competative disadvantage compared to less scrupulous retailers. Soooooo... I dunno.
