Searching for some info

Hi everyone, I am searching for some info from REAL users NOT reviewers or Yihi directly as I truly do not trust them.

Here is what I am looking for. If anyone has or did have one of those SX auto squonk mods, I would like to know if that auto squonk feature did in fact work well. I thought way back I had read someone saying it never would sense the wicks getting dry, so it really didn’t function well at all. Yihi is saying they have fixed this and I would like to know if it is in fact true. I don’t trust them at all. I DO trust you all though

It really seemed as though it was more of a gimmick though and in turn it also reduced the liquid capacity, but that's my opinion.

I have the IPV V3 Mini and the IPV Revo

I have to admit I like the ipv v3 mini, the revo....not so much...major design flaws on it

the ipv v3 mini yes the autosquonk on it actually works quite well and I'd use it more if it wasn't limited to being stuck with the proprietary disposable rda...it's not a standard 510 so that sucks....and it's not a rebuildable, it only comes with a disposable....aside from that it's a good little kit

the revo, I'm not even going to go into...I just can't with that mod...it's a glorified paperweight....

Have you considered a RTA? It's not a squonker but a tank, but it's rebuldable. There are 100s of options for RTAs and then you have your choice of mods. It's just matching up what you want in a setup. Are you MTL or DL? What ohm coil would you build? What wattage do you like to vape? If you prefer a squonker you would go with an RDA instead of an RTA, but the same questions apply. It wouldn't be an autosquonker, thought. That is a niche feature, not generally found on most squonkers.

Thanks for the replies. It's not about having a squonker vs a RTA. ( and I should have stated that, my bad. ) I am getting design ideas and needed to know how reliable the auto mechanism is. ( see hat in avaatar ) lol

Oh no, I wouldn't go that far. I don't design, I mean I may toss out some ideas here and there but mostly just a tester and help with suggestions if the prototype needs some changes before it goes to market. There is a whole team of us. I was simply trying to confirm info for someone

Chip maker or main company, says this or that and ya, lets see if that really IS true!

I probably should have said "gathering" ideas for someone. The end result of everyone's combined info, is still up to the owner.
