so, i was talking to someone today, who said why not check the hotels in that area instead of the casino? many of them have meeting rooms that can be used for small parties and benefits. I would bet Lynwood or Everett have a few options that would be viable?

Just took a quick look at the site that you provided. Seen quite a few places in Bothell, Everett, and Lynwood. Anyone have any preferences? Will try and give a few of them a call or email. Also, I'm not sure of the laws in Snohomish Co. But, there's nothing against vaping indoors, is there?

Welcome to the thread UltraViolet! Unfortunately the venue that was originally agreed upon. Proved to be too expensive. So, right now we're looking for alternatives.

Hey Blu, that's unfortunate. Just don't understand the lack of communication on their part. Haven't gotten a response from the email I sent neither.
Anywhere from Burlington to Tacoma is good for me, but I think Everett-ish is pretty central to most everyone. If we were only expecting ~20 people I would suggest O'Houley's (sp?) in Mt Lake Terrace, as I know they are vape friendly, but not big enough for our size group. Uncle Jack's in Lynnwood (pool hall) might be an option, do we need to accommodate anyone under 21?
Not to my knowledge. I have frequented a few places in SnoCo and never ran into any problems.
Wish I knew how many people were showing up exactly. Guess we won't really know until the time of the meet. If I remember correctly, there was a person that expressed interest that was under 21. There maybe more then that though.

Some places, so long as its not a bar only, but a restaurant/bar allows under 21 until a certain time of the night.

Hey everyone! Just wanted to give a quick update. I've looked at the link that AJ provided. Seen that there are a few establishments that I feel would be ideal for this meet and it's requirements.
I've contacted the Holiday Inn in downtown Everett via email. Waiting for their response right now. Will be making some phone calls during the weekend. Since I didn't see any email addresses other than the one I had just mentioned.
There is just one other hotel in the Everett area. The other two would be in Lynwood. Which would still work out IMO. It would be both accessible for the people up north as well as the south.
Here is a quick list for all to see:
1. Holiday Inn/Everett
2. Best Western Cascadia Inn/Everett
3. Best Western/Alderwood Lynwood
4. Embassy Suites/Lynwood

Same here, hopefully one of those will allow vaping indoors. Unfortunately, I haven't heard back from the Holiday Inn I contacted a few days ago. Am going to give them a call as well tomorrow when I'm making my phone calls.

Hey I thought it be great to get as many people as possible interested, I don't go many places in the forum, but I do wander sometimes, figured if anyone was looking at sigs they would get here It's been there since Blu told me about the thread, don't know if anybody has been brought in by it though LOL
