Second Vaping Experience (Inferno, Provape-1)

Just joined the forums after lurking for a while.

So I decided to switch from analogs, and tried a few (unsatisfactory in various ways) options - Pure and Blu Disposables, and some rebranded mediocore 3 piece system I overpaid for at my local smoke shop (before discovering the forums). They worked well enough (except the 3 piece), but didn't produce enough TH to really satiate my desire to just smoke (nicotine levels were also lower than I probably need). The battery life was also a problem (I vape/smoked a lot)

So I did a bit more research, and ordered an Inferno kit from Volcano, with their disposable tank system and a drip kit with inferno atomizer, as well as a Provape-1 with their LR cartomizers.

So far dripping is my second favorite, behind the cartomizers (better flavor dripping though), with the tanks in a cool third with the storage volume balancing out the loss in flavor.

So now I'm digging in and trying to find what atomizers to buy, and to find a flavor I really like (Cherry Lava tastes like cloraseptic. the tanks can be a blessing). Any suggestions would be awesome, and I'll be digging into the forums more now to find the nuggets of knowledge within.

I've never found a good cherry flavor, they all taste like cough syrup to me. Taste is so subjective its really hard to give advice on it. Are you into fruity stuff, candy stuff, or mellow stuff? Im a big fan of tobacco's and less overpowering flavors. I've almost always got a bottle of black honey tobacco, ry4, 555, bobba's bounty, etc. Stuff like that is what I like. Your really gonna have to get out there and just try some to find what works for you, start off with small cheap bottles untill you get what your looking for or maybe look into some DIY (start small. grab 36mg unflavored and a few flavors that sound good)

I'm staying off cherries. I ordered 6 different 5ml bottles froom Provape when I ordered it, but they ship separately form the PV1 itself. I got a few tobacco flavors and a mix of others, at 24mg. I'll check the forum suppliers list and try a few others, hopefully with better luck. I don't really know what i want, other than that I don't want the Blu tobacco flavor, and something US made.
Thanks for your recommendation - the DIY option is quite attractive - just order the 36mg unflavored and then 0mg flavors and mix to taste/need?

The easiest way to get into it is to start off with 36 mg unflavored and pick up some straight PG or VG to cut it with and toss in some flavors. The DiY flavors are just as subjective, I like Perfumers/Taste apprentice stuff the most, but, I haven't tried flavourart.

Also, if you usually vape juice on the higher end of the nic spectrum, maybe get the 48 instead of the 36. Also there's a cool DIY calculator around here somewhere but I dont have the url/

A couple of people mentioned Boba's Bounty from Alien Visions and I also like their Gorilla Juice. You might also enjoy e-juices from vaperite especially their organic flavors. I should also mention ePipeMods. They make some awesome mods that resemble pipes - they're gorgeous. I bring them up because they also sell Pipe Sauce (e-juice) which is very tasty. Quite a few people I've talked to like their Sweet Georgia Peach and Grandpa's Cough Syrup.

Lastly you'll want to learn the difference between VG and PG one of which is usually an ingredient in every e-juice. I don't have a good source for this information except to say that I'm sure there are several good articles on the topic here on ECF.
