Hello all,
I am a noob to the vaping scene and my only experience is with a couple of Uk based disposable products that a friend picked up for me as a gift. They were not fantastic but I could see the potentials and started to research.I am ready to get myself a kit now and I am able to afford $100 dollar for starters. My Plan is to share this amount between the hardware and eliquid.Hardware wise i have decided I want a big batt Ego type PV would have loved to get the innokin VV or the MVP(it was love at first sight:blush:) but I thought against it when i took into consideration that I will need accessories like atomisers, tanks, clearomisers and all that other stuff (I want to have enough supplies to generally last at least 3months ) for some reason I think I would like to go with the 510 threading at least 1000mah battery(preferably2) i discovered fastech and they seem to have really affordable gear I dont know how good the quality would be so I was hoping you guys could advise me on what to get in terms of accessories and gear with the $50 dollars would prefer us shops as it will get to me much quicker than Asian suppliers as i can ask my family in the US to buy the gear and i will pay for them to ship to me(Btw shipping cost not included in the $100).On the eliquid front would have loved to test my buds on the wide range of juice out there but yet again I am looking to initially get enough supply for three months because when I start vaping i dont want any excuse to go back to analog.I was kind of looking at liqua ejuice(its affordable) but it am thinking that getting supplies from the Likes of PA or Fa with some 36mg-50mg nic and probably some 250ml of PG and VG should hold me(I am Hoping to vape about 1.5ml a day).I am pretty open to advise/ideas and I am willing to try and up my budget or make adjustments if i have to.Thank you for taking the time .Looking forward to your feedback thanks
Z

I would still recommend the iTaste MVP. Powerful built-in rechargeable battery which will last 2 - 3 days per charge; can be used as a pass thru while charging. No need to purchase multiple batteries and a battery charger for those. Uses both eGo and 510 threaded juice attachments. Kit comes with charging cord and two iClear clearomizers.

You can get version one for $45 at FastTech: Found 6 itaste mvp at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

I would recommend a couple more clearomizers, either the iClear 30 clearomizers (larger juice capacity) or Kanger Protank with a couple of spare replacement heads. This way you can use different flavors in each tank.

Thanks Baditude what do you think i should do for eliquid

Being I'm from across the big pond, I'm not aware of what e-liquid vendors you have at your disposal.

General advice: Figure on consuming 3 ml a day. 18 - 24 mg nicotine is generally suggested for a 1 pack per day smoker. Try a variety of flavors you think you may like. You likely won't find a tobacco flavor that tastes like a cigarette, so don't go heavy on the tobacco choices. Try some fruit or candy flavors.

I might sound like a broken record...but....the Kangetech bottom coils work great for me. I have been vaping steady for about three years and they deliver all the vapor and flavor and nic I need to enjoy vaping.

A simple VV like the ego twist or vision spinner is nice...but not needed. I use a Kanger T3S everyday..and an inexpensive rebuildable dripper at home some nights or weekends. I have two simple VV that I use for that.

But...I rebuild all my coils and mix my own juice....I vape on the cheap...but even with higher end VV VW units my total sosts are way cheaper that analogs for the year. You can spend as much as you like....and some spend a ton.

I also had to go through ....and still am... The learning curve...but now I am sure that I am dome with tobacco forever...

Good Luck

Across the Pond ;-) it really shouldnt matter as I paln to buy in the usa then ship across the pond

Well, I order from several different e-liquid vendors.

For fruit flavors my favorite is Dripeez Natural E-liquid.

I like the coffee flavors from Virgin Vapor, especially the Kona Velvet Milkshake, and from Vaperite (Kona Cream and the Double Espresso).

I like Pina Colada from Evo and Pink Spot from Pink Spot.

Probably my favorite flavor at the moment is DNA from RX Vapors.

 That's a lot of flavors, mostly fruit and coffee's. I switch between flavors 3-4 times a day.

Id say pick the highest tier mod you can afford then save a bit longer and get the next tier up! Cheap mods break. I've seen so many break after just a month or two it's silly. I highly suggest getting a hand crafted mod rather than a massed produced one. It will save you in the long run.

As for juice, i like tobacco based flavors, and so far backwoodsbrew.net and heather heavenly vapes are the only two places i keep going back to.

*edit* oh and the tanks, I've used both that you pictured. Both are great really, I drop my stuff a lot, so unshielded glass doesnt last long for me, but the protank has great flavor and works well. The vape is cold though with the single coil at least.

The i30 with its dual coils also has great flavor but the vape is much warmer. I personally like to feel that vape and the warmth helps a lot. My gf loves her protank though. it gurgles on her sometimes. I had zero issues with the i30.
