I fell into the marketing trap and ordered Blucig's starter kits. Afterwards I decided to research and I ordered a 510 kit from cignot, who by the way has incredible service. I haven't even received my kits yet but I'm already making plans to return the blu's and order a couple 510 or ego's.

My problem is that my wife and friend think the Blu will be sufficient for them. I personally can't handle having a sub standard product but they don't think that way. Do those things actually work, or will they more than likely end up wanting to switch. The price tag isn't a big problem I can afford to keep them then order different ones, but I want to start them off right.

Would you keep the Blu's or should I return them as soon as I receive them and get 510's instead?

j808 if money is not an issue then buy them all. I started with a 200 dollar kit I believe worse than a blue, but it did help me quit smoking for a week and until I finally got a mod, my 1 month was a total of 5 packs, which for me at the time was awesome. Sometimes you just have to start with something that works OK to appreciate something that is so much better.:D

I have a friend that loves his Blu (after blue foam mod and better juice that is)
I personally had to upgrade to a 510 Magma (I guess I didn't *have* to, but felt like I needed more). So it is perfectly possible to enjoy a Blu and get satiafaction from it. In my opinion it depends on if you need the PCC. I opted for the Magma since it comes with a PCC. But if the PCC is not an issue you can find a 510 kit for less than the Blu and I personally like the performance of the 510 atty more than the one Blu uses. Blu has a 30 day money back. Maybe try it and see if you/she/they like it and send it back if not?

If money isn't a problem, keep the Blu. It can always be used as a backup----better to have it than having to go buy a pack.

Consider me your recycling center for Njoy Pro, Smoking Everywhere Gold, Cloud 9, Smoke 51 Trio, and DSE103 useless batteries.
Other hardware if it’s still usable.
Those I loan out to/give to thank you.

Like hgigh said, if it's working then good - major personal pref though.

I found over time I wanted batt life, batt life, batt life and that usually means larger mod. For 510 atty, the eGo/Hello style are the real talk of the town. Seems like batt life vs. size is a real winner. I personally went with the JStick/Bartleby as I am PC based all day at the office and can charge my batt from the PC with these.

But.... I also have my DSE 901 (my first kit) and a Protege' as fall backs and change of pace devices. So experiment as it keeps vaping fun and satisfying.

If something gives what you need for taste, nicotine, vapor production, etc., and you don't care about the $, super.

I got a kit (Not a Blu, but someone's repackaged RN4xxx 3-piece) before finding this forum and switching to a KR808D-1. When my new stuff came in, I used the old as a Pay-It-Forward, got it to someone who would make better use of it than I.

(For my 808, I've got spare batteries, and a couple of chargers, won't need another make as a fallback.)
