I think I'm dying, thanks Blu

I ordered Blu cigs and recieved them yesterday. After about an hours use one started producing acrid smoke instead of the flavored vapor. it is like pure chemicals. I called Blu, they want me to send my order back via rma and wait 2+ weeks for a replacement, so i ordered a JOYE 510 starter kit online and was planning on returning my Blus for the 30 day guarantee when my 510 comes in, but just now i was vaping with the remaining blu battery when i took puff and almost died from a sudden lung full of acrid chemical vapor. Its like burning plastic! now I'm stuck until whenever my 510 gets here with nothing to smoke! I spent my cigarette allowance on the damn Blu's Now im friggin screwed. PLUS I had bought 3 packs of blu carts along with the starter kit, and they won't take them back, even thought they are unopened! There's $30 lost, plus I had spent $22 on 2 day shipping on the Blu's. I can't believe a product like this can have fans I'm absolutely furious that I'm losing out on $50 for something I have to return because it's positively lethal. Now what!?!?!?!?

Cripes sake I hope your 510 gets there quick! I'd be mad too. How long did you use the carts before you noticed the plastic? You may have to toss them fast if you are emptying them or find a way to refill if you can. I don't know about carts with them only the carto's (atomizer+cart combined). Hopefully someone else has better advice for you.

ETA:
Most places that are not affiliated with ECF will say they last as long as a pack of analogs but most find that an absolute myth.

Arrrghhhhhhhh! There's so many people switching that some of these companies kick a new customer to the curb without a thought - guess they think there's plenty where you came from Gosh, that's awful. Sucking in melting plastic fumes? Gezzus. They should have overnighted a replacement to you.

I'm sorry you're having problems! After you have 5 posts, you may be able to sell your cartos in the classifieds. You may take a little hit, but you can re-coop at least some of the money you spent.

I guess they don't realize when they stick a customer like this that others will find out about it. Hopefully others thinking about buying one will see your post. Instead of all the money they spend on advertising, they ought to put the money into building a better product.

My thoughts were it might be the carto filler burning(vaping dry) and the actual batts might be fine. So if he knew what threading he got he may be able to use the batts with different cartos as emergency back up if the need ever arose.

I had that happen as well with Blu. I had two duds of Blu cartos, one in each of the last 2 boxes I received.

Turns out I got the same result when accidentally attaching an empty carto instead of the one I had filled to my ePower. Same gawdawful taste, so I agree with calico up there...seems like you got a few duds.

Since you can't return the cartos, you may as well crack the rest open and try a few more in the hopes that it'll last you until your new stuff arrives.
