I deal with McMaster, on occasion, via my line of work as a machinist/fabricator/TIG welder, etc.. I'll give them a look. Forgot all about "Digikey". I used to buy from them when I was into a different type of 'coiling' as a hobby. Never heard of 'Mouser', but thanks to you, I'll certainly give them a look see. If I find no joy in these sources, I might need to ask you to "please" dig through your kitchen bins. :rolleyes:

Fatdaddyvapes has a good 510 connector, SS base with a brass nut and post. It's called a thread repair insert but can be used as a connector from the beginning, or after removing one that went awry.

Snark, if you have Mcmaster available through work, you may be able to avoid their worst disadvantage, being the shipping.
