Me and wifey have been using old school 18650 e-power units. We need to replace them and really do not want V V or anything like that. Do any of these, or something similar, exist anymore?

What's an old school e-power unit?

What's wrong with them? Are the buttons/switches starting to fail?

Maybe a mech with a kick in it will suit you just fine; the kick is the pcb part

The poldiac is one of the few top fired mechs:

Do you want the power to be regulated to stay the same as the battery discharges? Do you have cost and quality preferences?

On another note, variable voltage and variable wattage are so prevalent these days, you're really limiting yourselves by not considering them. If you set one at say 3.8 volts, or say 8 watts and leave it there all the time it becomes irrelevant. Just a thought :)
