I've read a couple threads that mentioned a self-cleaning cycle on an e-cig, but have never experienced this myself... Do 510's have a self-cleaning cycle? And what tells you that they are in the middle of one? And what exactly is this? A super heating of the atomizer? That seems like a silly thing to have in an atomizer with a limited life in the first place. Surely any kind of super heating or cleaning cycle would just shorten the life of the atomizer?

The self cleaning is only on the automatics. The manual button 510's don't have a cleaning cycle.
