I vape anything I've got that'll fit on my MVP, and depending on mood, etc., they all work pretty good. I'm a single (usually) busy female (no kids) newbie too. I tried rebuilding a coil (made 3 single coils for mini Protank 2), but I'm just not very good at it. Not gonna try it anymore.

I only skimmed this thread, but I saw something about wicks. I learned this - http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/new-members-forum/518579-can-i-ask-here-now-3.html#post12019533 - seems to me like they all have wicks of some kind.

About being "satisfied" - http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/general-e-smoking-discussion/528596-aspire-nautilus-adjustable-airflow-tank-system-best-power-source-2.html#post12269839 - and up to 24mgs nicotine did the trick for me. Pchela's Famous 5 Layer and Newtella are my favorites.

Hope this helps some.

I pull into my mouth and then inhale, so I don't think it's lung hits. When I first started years ago, I went nuts on juice and bought all kinds of yumminess! lol I enjoyed the taste so much that I was vaping nonstop, it seemed like. I don't want to do that this time, so I'm limiting myself to just a few flavors. Now, though, I feel like I'm doing it nonstop again because I can't get that satisfaction I'm looking for. I vape a coffee one in the morning that is 24mg and then I switch to 18mg Tribeca, both from Halo. Not sure of the pg/vg ratio as it's not on the bottle. I smoke about a pack daily of Marlboro Lights. I was hoping 18mg would be enough. I'm scared to vape anything over that all day long because I get headaches when I feel like I've overdone it.

I really need opinions on something (other than the ones I mentioned) that I can just fill multiple times, not have to clean or do much repairs and replace when needed. I'm a real dummy on this stuff, but I want to quit smoking so bad!

I have the MVP 2 and did not like the iClear clearomizer that came with it. I have a couple of ego beginner kits that I started with, and they came with Evod clearomizers. That's what I now use with my MVP, and they are pretty trouble-free and work well.

They aren't the "latest and greatest" clearomizers or tanks that everyone talks about, but I really like them. They are inexpensive, about $5 or $6, so I can have several of them loaded with different juice to rotate throughout the day. The coils are only about $1 or so, and I can change coils frequently without a lot of expense.

I also have had good luck with some inexpensive clearomizers from Discount Vapers. They work just as well as the Evods, and I get very good flavor and vapor using them with my MVP. I personally don't think you always have to spend a lot to get what you want. Here is a link to the clearos:

DV BCC Clearomizer

I keep my MVP set on 7.5 watts and get 1.8 coils for my clearomizers.

I mirror neutrontech in the appeal of the "geek factor" which all this new electronic equipment offers. Vaping has become more than just an alternative to analogs, but sort of a hobby to maximize the experience.

Its that same "geek factor" that sadly scares even more away than it attracts.

The Aspire Nautilus is a stellar recommendation, but it is $30. You might have better luck with the Aspire BDC or Vision X.Jet Spider I mentioned, as they are basically the fundamental Nautilus without the airflow adjustment and smaller tanks. That is only $9 to see if Aspire works for you. If one of them works, grab a Nautilus.

Being able to up Nicotine or adjust wattage and airflow can help, but you gotta have that drive to get the stinkies out of your life. My 3 yr-old was that for me.

Vaping will never be just like smoking, but if you can get over the hump and find something that works reasonably well for you, soon it will get easier.

Yes! It helps a lot!! May I ask how much you smoked daily? I'm trying to get a feel on what 24mg would be compared to.

To me vaping is leaps better than smoking. Not talking about health, I'm talking about overall satisfaction.
I still enjoy the smell of a fresh lit cig though. I enjoy hanging with the smokers to bask in the second hand smoke. I have no cravings for them but I really enjoy the smell. I always hear about ex smokers being disgusted by cigarette smoke so I sorta expected to feel the same way, but Im the exact opposite. I dont like old stale smoke though.

Then again I loved smoking. I had no intention of quitting anytime soon. It was purely by accident that I quit. I just liked vaping so much more.

I think anyone can quit with vaping. It's just a matter of finding that one thing that motivates you or that one thing that makes vaping more enjoyable to you. It's not always easy to find that though. Its definitely worth the effort. And you're right about the geekiness scaring people away. Geeky options are great but simple and works are great options too.

I sincerely think it's possible or else I wouldn't have came back to vaping. I just have to find the right fit. I don't mind being single, but a man around the house sure would be handy right now!!! ;)

... keeps your mind off of cigs. For me the tinkering ... helped immensely. Gave me something to learn and tinker with while still giving me the nic It can be as simple as you want or more complex.

Me too! My recoils worked ok, and it was fun/exciting/cheap to attempt. I went by this guy's video, except for the dry fire

Ditto. When I get back to work, instead of looking for "big truck friendly" cigarette stores I'll be looking for "big truck friendly" vape shops

I still suggest trying higher level nicotine (and maybe less "fruity/yummy" flavors) using whatever devices you already have. I firmly believe it's the nicotine that consciously/unconsciously makes people go back to real cigarettes.

Personally, I like the iclear 16 better than anything I've got, but I'm going with Mini Protank 2's or Mini Protank 3's because they're glass - don't have to worry about tank-buster flavors.

Just my 2 cents....

I enjoy the aerotank myself, its a dual bottom coil, adjustable airflow, no leaks, glass tank so no worrying about cracks, and coils are cheap. I have it on my mvp 2 and looks killer.

If you already have a pro tank, an Aerobase is a good addition. Just gives you a ton of options of airflow. The box will grow on you.
