Finally, recognitions that these are not equals fighting. A Congressman, as House members like to be called, is to a Senator as the student council representative is to the class president. Big differences in prestige and power. The New Jersey guy is a heavyweight, on the Speed Dial of every health organization. Stearns is just a good guy doing his thing. But at least he threw a rock at David. Go Cliff!

Indeedy. 1 of 435 vs 1 of 100. Rep. Stearns (R-Ocala, FL) is a voice, but not compared to a Senator (D-Ban-All-Habits-I-Perceive-I-Don't-Like, NJ)

On a side note, I have seemingly/oddly lost my concerns about the multi-millions Sen. Lautenberg lost by betting on his inside connections investing with Bernie Madoff. No telling where that investment would have gone seeing where his priorities are...

Ahem.

Personally, I would like to see the Senate disbanded, but that is a conversation for another time. :)

Only if you replace the senate with optional electronic e-vote, held every day, majority popular vote across america wins issue.

Wait thats a bad idea,

Only if you replace the senate with 1 person, like and emperor or jedi

wait thats a bad idea, isnt this like a movie i saw before.

Are you trying to disband the senate?!

yes, yes yes, by all means put us to work writing letters.
meanwhile i see your website hasn't changed much.

what will you be doing while we're all busy protecting your interest?
putting up some more billboards?

don't you think some proper introductions are in order?

OMG... You're right Candy!

Hi Jon, How's the billboard?????? Has Obama called for cart refills? ...New atts???

:-x...grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!! (holding back saying things I could later regret.)

I blame sellers like you for marketing our devices as NRT's and "healthy" for getting us this mess. Your greed trumped any pleas or words of wisdom from anyone here, so why are you back? ...To TELL us how to handle the current situation??? You have NO right telling anyone here what to do! :-x:evil::-x:evil::-x:evil:

Stearns shot back at Lautenberg on Monday, saying that there is no evidence that the device is harmful.

“Before the FDA takes any immediate action, it should put forward scientific evidence that these products are harmful or unsafe,” he said in a statement.

“These e-cigarettes are smokeless and do not produce carcinogens. The nicotine in e-cigarettes is controlled in a capsule that can help in smoking cessation by allowing the user to reduce gradually the nicotine level, hopefully to zero.”

Stearns has sent electronic cigarettes to House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) and President Obama to help them quit smoking. He’s been seen using the device in the Speaker’s Lobby, where Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) banned smoking two years ago. Her office did not respond to a request for comment by press time.

KEEP SENDING THE LETTERS !!!!

I was wondering when someone was going to catch on that Jon "The Safe Cig" guy was the one that started this thread. He, along with any other supplier that claims that their gear is "Safe" or "Healthy", are a big part of the reason why we have to worry about the future of our Personal Vaporizers. Frankly, I wish SJ & the mods would just eliminate the participation of anyone who make such claims on this forum.

The best thing you can do, Venuvious, is change the name of your website/business. What proof do you have that your gear and liquid is "Healthy"?

I am glad this guy stood up to Lautenberg. Don't get me wrong, I'm 100% loyal Dem, pro-union dude, but I'm starting to see this whole "nanny" thing the GOP has complained about Dems about. Not switching parties, but Jesus let us do what we want! ANd its better for you, period. Seems that the Dem. Party isn't friendly to Big Tobacco but Big Pharma is a whole different story. I'll make my own e-liquid if worse comes to worse, right to vape dangit.
