One was dropped in dish water and without thinking I tried to fire it before drying it out. Even after the alcohol bath it wouldn't work and the other one had the top cap working it's way up and the menu stopped working although it still fired an atty. They have arrived at Provape and are still being inspected. My question is how do I pay for the repairs? I don't understand how they will bill me. The RMS site doesn't have any info about how payment is made so I am unsure. I sure do miss them :( I feel very vulnerable with just the one Provari while the other 2 are out for repair. I went nearly 2 years dropping them daily and beating them up in every other accidental way possible without any problems and then BAM! Over 2 days 2 of the 3 went down. If you need a reason to justify buying a 3rd Provari this story may convince you. I am starting to think about a 4th lol. Seriously though. How do I pay for the repairs?

I'm so sorry about your Pro problems & I really didn't want to hit the 'like' button but I've never heard a better reason to get a red mini (in my dreams) than your situation. Your right, 2 is not enough & I'm also now considering the hazards of washing dishes, not good. Really, I hope the repairs aren't horrible & trust me, you'll be contacted for payment. A 4th.....perhaps my next life, whoops I forgot, I'm coming back as a spoiled Shi Tzu.....

I wouldn't worry too much about how you are going to pay them. I AM SURE they will let you know. :)

between here and there
Labor $25.00 $65.00 Circuit Board per unit
(or thereabout' )

I asked about a week ago regarding a used unit I was considering.....

That is still not a bad price considering the cost of a new one. But a good reason to have backups.
:)
ps I have more than 3....

About how long did it take for ya'll to recieve your provari's after you placed the order? I can't wait until its in my mailbox the anticipation is killing me lol-clouds4dayz-

It only took 4 days with the 1st one last week & yesterday I ordered the mini at 7:30 A.M. - received shipping notice at 2:30P.M. & it should be here Monday. They're using 2 day priority WITH SIGNATURE, so please make sure someone is able to sign if you're not home.

Thanks Bad:) I knew all of the costs. I was just wondering how I would be paying for the repairs. I am assuming the one dropped in the dish water needs a new board. I am not expecting them to charge me for the one that the top cap came up on. If they do I will be surprised. It is such a vulnerable feeling knowing I only have the one Provari here. I just always know I am covered because I always had 2 and recently bought a 3rd. I want them back so badly. It's like being away from one of my kids lol.

LOL

When I was a laptop tech. for Dell years ago I got a laptop in for repair: the repair order read "Dropped in Kiddie Pool" repair as necessary...luckily they had that ware and tear and kiddie pool repair warranty....

I replaced everything but the plastic covers...yeah I know I thought the same, just give 'em a new laptop...go figure...

Don't hit me....did it clean it ?

Just kidding I know you were sick....barfing.gif
