the median output is the same. series just alows you to go higher in wattage, while parallel allows you to run lower resistance coils. But if you keep it the same at 12watts they should both last the same amount of time. This was a discussion on the facebook group Box Modders a while ago. I wish I could find it now, as they had some great diagrams on it...

Both allow the same wattage potential.

posted this elsewhere and got no response so far...

Would a series mod last as long as parrelell mod (vape time) if I stayed at same wattage (12.5). I think it would. I know parrelell equals more mah and series offers more volts, but if I'm not using the higher volts on offer... Same vape time? Or am I being a dumbas s ... and why?

At same wattage: yes.

Conservation of energy.

Are you using a regulated box mod ?

Yes, should of mentioned that. I mostly vape at 1 ohm at 12.5 watts. Usually stick to parrelell mods (istick50, mvp3), as they last me all day. Looking to buy a new mod with replaceable battery's. Judging by replys I should be ok with smok 160, snow wolf, etc. Just wanted more options. Thanks for replys guys :)

The reason they run the batter's in series is to double the volts to achieve 200 watts, do you need 200 watts for your 1 ohm coil ?
