Hello all in ECF land,

I have recently decided quit analogs after 15 years. I had tried The Safe Cig about 2-3 years ago and felt it wouldn't keep my interest long enough to quit.

I have now been using the V2 standard size auto and manual battery. My wife has bee an EgoT fan for years now but I want to start with a "true to Camel feel" for the time being before I start going mod crazy with custom builds.

My question to you is this, I purchased this Kanger Clearomizer to run on my "4.2v, 250mAh" Standard V2 battery. The Cartos that are supplied for this battery are rated at 2.8 oHms I believe. My concern is that this new Kanger clearo being rated at the low 2 oHm might cause my V2 battery to get angry and either meltdown or pop in my face. Do any of you have experience with this combo? Maybe a pro in this ecig world could warn me of complications that could arise.

I know that the Kanger should produce a heavier vapor due to the higher temp based on oHm, but maybe the battery is too weak to get it fired up.

Any info will be appreciated, thank you!

TL:DR

Will a kanger KR808D-1 Clearo rated at 2 oHm decide to pop/burn my V2 Standard batteries?

A 2.0ohm carto will fry your battery. You really ahold stick with 2.8 but no lower than 2.6. If you want more vapor, check out the bottom coil ce3. Most places are sold out, but smokeless image is supposed to have them in within the next day or so. They are saying tomorrow. Since the volt is also 809, they will work on your battery. Check out my video on cartos and clearos to see the difference. The Video feature SI, but the information applies to any battery. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WKN6MV5inJk

Hi Anticon,
2.0ohm on a 250mAh battery has a risk of damage. Here's a link that explains it: WHAT V with WHAT mAh? carto/atty to battery info

Thank you Cloud Wizard, you do not know how much searching has taken place to find a good chart laying out those ratings. I guess I should play it safe and not mess with those on my current V2 bats. Maybe I will place the Kangers around the office to see peoples reaction to what the heck they could be... Or look into a larger 808 setup like Vapor Girls 808 Military Iturbo. The offerings at your link look nice as well. I appreciate the input very much!

I have bookmarked your video as well Mroutlaw, unfortunately I am on an old PowerBook that does not play well with YouTube, I will watch it when I am on my PC. The Ce3 components should be compatable with a larger 808 rig as well, say if I decide to go for an 1100 rated 808? I will keep these Kangers off my current V2's for sure, I may keep them as backups to my future bats and would rater them work properly than to have them beat up by clearo's that were too meaty.
