Server busy...

is anyone else consistently getting the "server busy" message? it seems like every 3 minutes I go to click on a thread and there it is - "server busy," and then I can't do anything for another 2-3 minutes. it's becoming quite annoying.

i know the site has added a lot of new members recently but seriously....

I hope the search for a new host is almost over because i'm losing my patience. haha.

face it foxy ... you're addicted to ECF just like the rest of us ... Even if it took 5 minutes per page to load, you would still hang around ... LOL ...

yes, i'm totally an addict now. luckily i have all the US suppliers favorited so I can peruse inventory whilst waiting for the forum to come back up. haha.

dear god no. the only way that'll happen is if i run out of juice and even then i might frantically start vaping gingerale or any beverage that's lying around.

Let's face it. We've got two addictions now.

Give SJ a chance to sort this out, this forum probably costs him money to run, as it gets more popular it gets more difficult to get good deals on hosting. Bandwidth costs!! If you find the forum useful, those of you that haven't already, why not consider becoming a supporting member, $2/month or $20/year. Not a huge amount of money, if it helps to get SJ new hosting, the problems will disappear and you will get a nice warm feeling and you sex life will improve.

i honestly started this thread just because i wanted to make sure i wasn't the only one experiences the "server busy" message. been free of them today, last night was just horrible - message after message after message - i was ready to through my computer out the window. yea, i'm addicted to ECF now. ha.

hmm...if the latter is true, Pete, I might start emptying my wallet. heh.

Seems to happen late in the evening - in my time zone, which is Central.
