Hello,
I got my first volcano magma kit on June 3 and that was the last day I have had an analog cigg nor have I craved one. Since then I have bought a Volcano magma kit along with numerous cartos, tanks, clearomizers, about 30 juices from about 5 differnt vendors ,etc. As well as convincing 2 others to buy kits and vape also. My question is what setup does everyone use for best flavor. I am curently using the ViVi Nova r2 tank with the inferno battery and the flavor just is not there it seems my juice is just burning and taste worse as time goes on. I am using the lowest ohm atomizer that came with the kit 1.8 i beleive. my xxl smoke king cartomizers with the poly inside work fine i guess just a muted flavor also the problem with those are you pretty much have to stick to the same juice unless you somehow clean the poly. just wondering what has worked for every one else to get the best flavor from the juices that cost quite a bit when added up. Thanks for any input.

I am not using a V tube. I am using a 650 mah and a 1000 mah Volcano inferno battery. Thats why I started with the 1.8 ohm. should I stick the 2.4 on there?

I should have read more carefully. When I saw Volcano, my head jumped to Lavatube.

The burning flavor in a Vivi Nova can be due to a number of things:

1. Lack of juice on the wick under the heating coils.
The Vivi Nova really shield be tilted and turned frequently to keep the wick full of juice. I have found that if I don't do this, it does not always give a satisfying vape and can sometimes taste a little burnt
2. The voltage on your Volcano battery is too high for the 1.8 ohm head (this is the most likely reason). I don't know the voltage on these ecigs but it is almost certainly between 3.4 and 3.7 V. I have tried the 1.8 ohm head and find I have to drop my voltage to about 3 V to prevent bad flavor. I don't use the 1.8 ohm heads due to this.
3. The coil in the head you are using may be what I call "gunned up", meaning it is covered by a thick coating of juice residue and when it is fired, it is just burning this gunk and giving a foul taste.

Change the head to the next higher resistance head in your Vivi Nova box. Bet it will improve things considerably.

Hope this helps!

I'm new to vaping like you, I first started using a v-tube with a 1.5ohm dct set on 4.2v. Now I'm using a Provari v2 with a Def Con which is like a Line 2 rebuildable and by far it's the best flavor and vaping experience I've had so far. Although I'm waiting to get the GG Penelope delivered very soon, I've tried a friends which was simply amazing. I've heard from a few people that those E2's like you're using are notorious for that burnt taste.
