setting genesis using mech mod

can i use mech mod to set my cobra genesis atomiser? my friend said he always done that and nothing to be afraid of

What do you mean by setting?
You wont know the ohm setting from the mech mod.
It just with the mech mod, even your tank is set to a very low ohm, it will work.
For the most of the VV/vw unit, the atty wont work if the ohm is low, generally below 1.2 ohm.

when there is hot spot. we need to set the coil to make it no hot spot. there is a potential to make it short circuit or something.

Yes for sure, but be careful and don't use a fully charged battery when doing it, with a low ohm coil it will blow the coil easily. And make sure you have a solid ohm reading before doing it.

Ya lor.. kalau use vv susah sikit mostly nanti dia tak detect la, apa la..
Heard that it can short circuit the board but i think most of the new PV have protection.
I do think it is easier to adjust the coil (to remove hot spot) using mech mod, as the mod will just burn the coil and when it is glowing it is easier to adjust it.
