setting genesis using mech mod

well its been along time since i didnt come viewing here. just a question, can i set my genesis atomiser using mechanical mod? cause my friend said he always do that and nothing to be afraid of

how do you gonna get the resistance value? don't fire the newly setup genesis with the new charged battery...
