After doing a little research, I went to my local shop and on a recommendation, I bought a starter kit with ego-t upgrade batteries and vision clearomizers. At first I was very satisfied but after a few days, the first clearomizer seemed burnt tasting so I tried the second and it felt a little like sucking through a broken straw (but maybe the first one had gotten harder to take a drag from and I just got accustomed to it, I don't know). I don't have any flavor anymore with either. Is that a normal effect of using the same liquid for a while or is it from the clearomizers themselves or what? I really don't want to spend the $9 they charger for the visions every few days. Should I stock up online or buy more flavors to alternate between? I'm also open to other suggestions for an alternative to the clearomizers (although I love the convenience of filling them) since I'm still unsure about what's compatible with them. Thanks in advance!

ALL tanks will mute flavor. I use the Vison clearos and add extra flavor to my juice. The clearo should last at least 2 weeks- mine are lasting about 4 weeks BUT I clean them every couple of days. Whether you buy the Vision or Vivi Nova make absolute sure you order the latest long wick versions- the previous versions had short wicks and wicking problems- perhaps the wick was dry and got burnt? If they are the short wick you have to tilt the tank occasionally to wet the wick. Also make sure they're rebuildable.
Clearo- $7.95

Here's a pic comparing both the long and short wick:

HI all... I was under the impression that clearos and tanks were better than normal carts for flavour?
Is that still right? Or have I got it wrong? :(

Good questions.
Of anyone tells you that one is certainly better than another, run for the hills. He/she is not going to help you. It would be like me telling you to eat apples instead of oranges. It is completely subjective.
I personally have purchased a CE4+ clearo and have not had success. It could be just defective. It could be a bad match for the juices I use. Therefore I would be irresponsible telling you that clearos don't work as well as cartos.
For me, cartos with a hole punched in them and a tank around them works great. I have learned that when I get a somewhat dry tasting hit, I need to take a pull on the ecig without pressing the button. I then see air bubbles come out of the punched hole. That means juice has re-saturated the carto. It works very well for me. I've never gotten the nasty burnt tastes Ive gotten from clearos. Again, that's my experience. Yours may differ. Hence I would never tell you that one is for sure better.

I use dual coil cartos in tanks for the most part. I DIY so I make my juices almost 'too' strong to drip on an atty when I first develop a juice so that I get full flavor in my cartos. Works for me. My dual coils stay good in a tank for a week or more under normal circumstances.

When I get to the point where a juice isn't coming thru as strongly as I remember I switch juices (tanks) to something else to let the flavor receptors in my nose and on my tongue have a rest from what they no longer 'get'.

This has been working fine for me for a long time, I rotate a lot of different juices.

YMMV
