I've been lurking around sevenvapes and they have some pretty nice looking clones all around. From rba's to mechanicals.

They have a couple cloud chaser kits ranging from 109.77-122 free shipping.

This is the description of one of the mod starter kits.

This kit qualifies for free shipping

I was thinking about purchasing the cloud chasers starter kit. Anyone think it would be a good idea?

If I did purchase the starter kit I was also probably going to purchase an rba so I could use he mech all day while I'm out and then come home and drip. I've never dripped before and feel like this would be a good entry point. I mean they're giving you everything all in one package. Plus If I don't like dripping I could still use the mech for an rba or something.

The allure of giant clouds has got my attention as well. From what I have heard about it you should really make sure the numbers are right, lots of stories about venting batteries and exploding rigs. Make sure that the items that they offer in the package add up. Safety is key!!!

Also if you do get it please re-post about the experience with it as I am curious as well.

I may have missed it, but I don't see an Ohm meter or any kind of pre-printed chart with ohm/volt/amp predictions to guide new cloud chasers in safety. I'd suggest these things be included in any starter kit for people who wish to touch the fluffy goodness. Safety first yah?

Edit: my bad, apparently now including ohm meter. Still, I'd suggest a little laminated sheet with comparisons for mech mods ohms vs amps at standard voltage for the mod.

Get a box mod chase clouds with that without having to reach into that danger zone. I use mechs with low builds but moved to reg box mods can get the same clouds higher ohm coils. That twisted coil will produce better then duals.

If you're smart you can use a mechanical mod safely. They can be just as safe as a regulated mod, and regulated mods can still blow up or the batts vent. I mean it's probably very very rare but I know it can happen.
