If you dont like the EGO and want to get the same experience you once had, just get yourself another Chuck? Problem solved? If you cant find one or they dont make them anymore, see about the high power Saber TOuch. Similar to the Chuck , but better finished. You have the choice of reg 3.7 or the high powered 5 volt. I think it uses 2 of the batteries you mentioned. THey are custom made or they have some pre-made you can get right away. The colours and designs are limitless.

The Saber TOuch is available occassionally for a great price in the classifieds or at Vapor Moon.com

For the Chuck

Can someone explain the coils to me in a simpler language? ... Like.. More coils = More vapore + More Battery Usage, Less Coiles = Hotter Vape, Less Smoke, etc etc...

Cus im lost... lol

its not that simple you have to take into consideration the guage wire you are using....the diameter of the final coil and so on....theres also micro coiling which is essentially getting all the wires of the coils to touch each other....

in general though here are some tips

the higher the guage the more quickly the wire heats up and the less resistance...
the more wraps you have the more resistence you'll end up with

i cannot speak to genesis style coil building as i've never bothered doing it but from what i understand those folks are using stainless steel as a wick and wrapping it around a coil vertically instead of the more traditional horizontal wrap

if youi are going to try coil building you need to get a multimeter or at the very least get a device that will measure ohms

I like this.. This sounds more my speed. So an REO is different that an RBA? Or They are ALL RBA's. Just the REO and the kayfun are different?

Jesus I feel like an idiot..I remember when I was giving everyone advice and getting my grandmother to switch to vape in 2008. Ahh god.

The REO is the vaporizer or battery device = to the ego being your battery, the Kayfun is the atomizer = to the cartomizer/ atomizer / clearo etc

The REO is the device itself aka the power source

the Reomizer is an RBA

i think you are really having trouble visualizing this so i really do think you'd benefit from watching a tutorial from super x

so here you go

also, do not feel like an idiot....not keeping up with these things can really put you behind...like i said i dont know the first thing about the kayfun fad nor do i want to...what i have works so well i dont care about new fads

finally, you can go to the reo boards and find a good welcome from the reonaughts...very helpful bunch

I need a middle of the road, Lots of vapor (10x more than the ego that I have, I want tweak clouds), Lasts all day, Built like a tank, type of mod that I will be happy with for 3+ years.... That's what I need a recommendation for...
I'm gonna regret saying this but...

IMHO, there is a Kayfun/Russian and Provari combo in your future.

I take back my comment about a REO. I dont like the idea of the bottle of juice and the tube. Im still leaning more towards a kayfun lite and a provari..

In reality, After watching some videos, the vapor production can be deceiving. Whats the real difference in vapor production between my ego-C Twist @ 4v and a kanger pro 1 tank, vs the kaylight setup and a standard 1.25-1.5 ohm coil?

Am I starting to get this thinking straight?

My Kayfuns @1.3 ohms with cotton wicks produce twice as much vapour and flavour as an ego a nautilus or a Pro tank in-fact only things I have that produce more are My Reo's and my RDA's

That reminds me about something I didnt mention.. I have tried a couple devices (No idea what they were) but they were this type of RBA, (they had posts and the coils you had to build) But DAMNNYYMMM, did they taste GOOD. It tasted like I actually got juice in my mouth, I had to get use to it for a second, but the vape was SO NICE that I could literally taste the thickness of the flavor.

THATS HUGE to me..I DEF DEF want a vape taste like that.. I wish I would have asked what the set-up was at the time..

to me the pro vari is a fine device, you wont regret buying it

however, i dont understand why you'd buy a pro vari and also build your own coils

the regulated devices to me are for stock equipment like say old 306/510 atomizers, maybe pro tanks or innokins tanks, maybe cartomizer tanks or something like that

if you want to build coils just get a mechanical...you can manipulate your wattage by simply building the right coil

Thats why I was originally thinking about going for like a k100 and a kayfun light type of deal... I just talked with the guy at my local store and he is going to be kind enough to bring in all his sub-ohm mods and stuff to let me check it all out on Monday.. Seems like a cool dude, But iv been a salesman, I dont wanna get trapped into something not right for me...

And I thought 2 years with Verizon was bad enough.. jeez..

A kayfun is not really a sub ohm device I run mine @1.3 ohms It is paired perfectly with a Provari A regulated device like a Provari gives a constant vape all the way through the battery life With a mechanical mod the battery starts to fade almost rite away and the vape quality goes downhill from there also It's a gorgeous combination :)

The more surface area of hot metal in contact with wet wick, the more fog.

the more wattage per surface area, the more fog.

A REO is a box that contains the battery and a bottle of eliquid; and on the top is the atomizer deck where you wrap your own coil; you squonk the bottle and the liquid squirts up to the coil wick area and you wape.

Some models you can put on your own atomizer instead of using the standard reomizer.

A simple mech is good for backup; as for building your own coils on a regulated mod - better to build and test out on a regulated mod anyway you take it; and easier to adjust your mod to match whatever the coil measured out to be, than to have to build the coil to match the battery which is still going to change anyway.
