Me and the wife have been quit smoking since Jan and vaping. I started out @ 24mg and her @ 18mg. We are bothe at 6 & 3 mg. anything higher gives us headaches now.

Also started out vaping 70pg/30vg now we like it the other way as that is too harsh. Can do some 50/50.
We both have been vaping a lot of the suicide bunny ob & mmilk which is 80vg/20pg lately I have been vaping a lot of the Vaping rabbit the hatter 100%vg.

Both of us are starting to have same problems. Nose bleeds, sore throat-sometimes bleeds, teeth hurting/sensitive like gums receding. Me was having bad leg cramps, but has eased off some. Indigestion is getting bad, but we both live on Prilosec as it is. Lol

For or her she is a stroke & heart attack patient and takes a lot of meds. She has had to go down on her cumidin/warfin cause it was messing with it bad. And now don't know if it's stress or something in what we are Vaping, her hair has starting falling out by the chunks.

Monday we both are going to a Dr and have some kind of blood work done as something is diff going on.

Oh oh and as for her we had a company miss label some juice and it was straight concentrated flavor and she caped it for 3 days before we figured out what was wrong and was sent to the ER. Almost killed her her PTINR was 5.7 thats how thin your blood is, but it's supposed to be 1.8/2.3max and she don't remember much about those days. Took a week to recover.

Anyway at has anyone heard of such problems ???

We bothe love our Kayfuns, but we also like our drippers, me more than her

First things first - doctor visit and then dentist visit.

It's possible you're both suffering from major stress problems due to your dear lady's heart attack/stroke. That can cause some of the problems you mentioned - and alopecia areata (hair falling out in clumps) can occur months after the initial shock/stress. Happened to my uncle. One week he had it, next week it was gone.

I have never heard about leg cramps from vaping.

Teeth problems yes - chances are that smoking numbed your gums, and as you have stopped taking in all those chemicals your gums are recovering and reacting to sensitivity that was there beforehand. PG sensitivity and reaction can cause a rough throat, harsh hacking dry coughing, mouth ulcers inside and outside. You can develop a PG sensitivity over time so you might want to try a 100% VG liquid - I'd suggest Heathers Heavenly Vapes as the base is also 100% VG and see if that helps solve the throat rawness issue - bit there are other vendors too.

When you say that a company mislabeled juice, concentrated flavor alone should not have had any impact on blood thinning. It might have made you both go "eewwww".

It really sounds like you both have medical issues and that medications are being currently adjusted to optimum levels but aren't quite there yet. Please let us all know how you get on at the docs.

The stroke and heart attack was 7 yrs ago. So that's no stress there. The stress from quoting smoking maybe. I lived by Heathers and when I first tried their stuff I did not like it.
Her meds and stuff was fine for the last 7 yrs since the stroke. Everything started 3months after we started vaping. We can vape some 50/50 but mostly do 80vg/20pg or 100%vg now. I think the 100%vg is messing with me as in indigestion and my throat.
I seen RipTripper post something about the cramps, but I need to get checked by a Dr

I'll be looking out for you to hear what they say towboatht as all the symptoms you mentioned just don't sound like a vaping problem. Have you had air tests done in your house as nose bleeds and throat rawness to the point of bleeding might be from mold or some other sever allergen. Anyway I'm sure someone will be by shortly with more and better info than I have. Good luck!

Hello, def go to the docs and fill us in! It sounds like you both have some things going on that should certainly be looked at!

If it is related to vaping in any way, it is most likely from quitting tobacco not vaping itself. You may find some helpfull bits on it here http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...hen-quitting-tobacco-changing-ecigarette.html. Mouth ulcers, bleeding gums, muscle aches/cramps, acid reflux, etc. Cigarettes are full of many icky chemicals and ones body certainly goes through the ringer over the first 12 months getting the toxins out and recovering from some of the damage.

Good luck to both of you, please keep us posted!

Water, water, water.. Take in more water. Your raw throat and whatnot is most likely simply a lack of adequate water intake while vaping.

The rest, to be honest, I also dont see this happening with just vaping.. UNLESS you are both allergic to VG, or food coloring (if its used - Some people have reported being allergic to even the sweetner used in some juices.. ), there must be something else afoot here. Without a first hand look though, it is gonna be really hard to tell you what it is..

What brand(s) juice are you guys vaping?

What devices are you using and at what power levels?

Just a FYI, have your doc send you and your wife to an Endocrinologist for testing. Her hair falling out could be hormone related.. like the pituitary gland or thyroid.

This is the only reason I joined to see if some May have had/heard of such problems.
What ever is going on vaping is/has made any underlaying problems come to light/worse. But we are not going back to smoking we are done with that aspect. I probably have 1,500.00 worth of diff juices at home. So plenty to try. So far I think all this gourmet juice is not all that. Going back to simple juices. The suicide bunny has about killed my taste buds. It was great at first, but not much flavor for me anymore and hurts my throat now. I'm done with that juice.

You would not believe how much water we drink. I can pee every 30min. Lol.
In the mean time I will keep everyone posted/up to date with the Dr stuff.

Thanks for everyone trying to help.

Wow. I'm sorry to hear that towboat. That was really really bad on the part of the vendor. You may need to go back to basics for a bit, and try a 100% VG clear juice with 0 nicotine, followed with a 90/10 and so on, to try and narrow the field on what it is. Some folk develop an allergy to PG that they can't tolerate any PG whatsoever, even within the flavor base on supposedly 100% VG.

But first, the doctor. (and I'd be wary of any other juices that vendor sold you). Plus, never ever ever buy them off Ebay or somewhere like that of course, though I know you know that anyway. :)

I agree that 0.23 ohm coil could be dangerous at various levels without the proper knowledge. With the heat a coil at that ohm produces, it may contribute to the sore throat issue. A metallic taste could be be from the lack of wick saturation or the juice burning/vaporizing to quickly with the heat of the coil. If the juice you got was pure flavoring it would have no nic in it as there was no base mixed with it.
Best wishes for you and the Mrs.

Towboat - I read your OP with great interest.

I, too, quit the analogs and started vaping in Jan. I have also been vaping Suicide Bunny for the past month or so - not exclusively, but mostly.

I, too, am on warfarin/coumadin. My INR level had been regularly between 2.0 and 2.5. The last few INR checks were way up there in the 4.2 - 4.5 range so my doc is constantly changing the dosage. My diet and eating habits haven't changed. The vaping is the big variable there. So, now you've got me thinking about a correlation between vaping, juice base types and effects on the INR. I hadn't thought about that until reading your post. I will bring it up with my doctor. I don't know if its just coindicence, but still worth looking at.

I cannot speak to the cramps or other problems you mentioned. The only issue I've had is oral dryness which pretty much went away when I stopped vaping high PG juices. I've been keeping to high VG which works best for me.

Hope you figure it out.

Hmmm.... why are you sub-ohming? I know folk rave about it for clouds, but for flavor I've never been too sure about going that low. Not criticizing - I don't know anything about s-o. Have you considered trying out a regular coil - 1.8 Kayfun? Just thoughts...
That is the hottest I've been, but most stay around .4 to .6 ohm. And yes what burns me in a driper burns my throat in my kayfun, I love my kayfun have 3 of them 2-plus-v2 and 1 3.1 with all holes drilled out including center post to 5/64th. And I keep them at 1.2ohm, .9, .8 and .7ohm. Tried the Bunny and it hurts my throat in the kayfun also. I just bought some Standard-Cellblock four and it hurt/very hard on my throat also then ten tried Mad Alchmest-Custard Matter and it same thing. I thing the Citrus and nic they are putting in some of these are messing with me, cause I can drip and kayfun some juices all the way to 12mg nic and it don't bother me, like some Ruthless,Baker White and several others.

Went to my Dr and he set me up to have an upper GI in a month, still waiting on results on my blood work if had done.

Just for information's sake have you tried 1.8 ohm or 2.2 ohm at say, 4.0 watts + which is where a good portion of vapers are?

It IS possible that there is base ingredient in some juices that just don't agree with you IE the citrus you mention. For some folk, even so-called 100% VG juices can hurt and irritate because the "base flavor" was done with PG and even that little amount becomes a huge irritant. (Not saying that PG is the problem for you here - just illustrating how a tiny amount of something can make a world of difference to your comfort and enjoyment).

And while I'm at it - the VERY best to you and I shall wait to hear your results anxiously!

Vaping I don't think had anything to do with her PTINR as much as it has to do with being quit smoking. Hers stayed like yours 2.0-2.5 since her stroke 7yrs ago she was on 12.5 warfarin and since she quit took 2 months it started spiking to 5.7 and 4.5. Now she is doing 10 for a coupl days the 12.5 for 2 days.

Most Dr's don't know anything about Vaping, so we as a community kinda have to Dr our self's

I've always done watts not volts and in my kayfun to me 1.2ohm is as cold as I'll go if I do a VW depending on juice every juice is diff 8 to 13watts. Some juices do great at 1.2 to 1.5 some taste and do better at.7-.8ohm. High PG does hurt us now so we are doing max 20pg/80vg to 100/99% VG, but stuff with a lot of Citurs blisters/hurts my throat, it don't bother the wife as bad but does me but it has caused sores in wife's nose so we are staying away from citrus and anything with more than 20pg

So I am getting to the bottom of things.

I have GERD so that probably has wore an ulcer on my throat upper GI will tell, but some ingredients make it worse a
