I have one of these. I also lost or discarded the instructions :| I am pretty sure it said 100g. I tried to calibrate mine one time with a hundred weight and ended up putting it in to 300G total weight mode and never managed to calibrate it. I lived with it like that for a few months until the batteries finally died and when I changed the batteries it reset back to factory settings. I have checked it with weights and it is spot on so I'm not messing with it any more :2cool: You can use coins to check your accuracy. Just google the weight of US coins.

BTW: I'm flying in to Detroit Saturday and staying in Mesick and then T-City for the next ten days so I guess we will be neighbors for a little while :)

Yep, the coin tip is great, practically all coin weights are on wikipedia, btw, so I just found a coin or two and looked them up and then tested...
My two very cheap china weights are not 100% precise, meaning if weighing the same coin ten times, then about 7 times it's the same value and the other times slightly off, but no more than 0.03g, so I don't care and don't think it makes any difference in my mixes and especially if e.g. making 30+ ml batches... (I couldn't get the aw one unless paing over 3 times the price in customs and shipping).

Also, a single drop is generally about 0.02g, so it's at most one and a half drop off :)

It can also make a difference where exactly you place the coin each time, btw, so shoot for the exact middle...
