Mixing by Weight - Scale Feedback

I know that the LB-501 is a popular choice here, but was looking for feedback on this scale as a viable alternative:

That's the one I want to get. Stainless steel weighing platform, removable for easy cleaning. batteries and wall adapter included, unlike some others that don't include batteries and can't even use a wall adaptor. And, I have heard that when you are using the wall adaptor, it doesn't auto-shutoff in the middle of your mixing session like some of the battery-powered scales do if you let them sit for more than a minute or so. The oh thing I don't like about it is the curvy, "organic" look to it but that's just aesthetics. There's another, similar scale that comes in white, with a sleeker, straight-lined, more "laboratory" look to it but that one doesn't have the removable platform, so I'll probably still go with the black one when I get around to getting one.

It looks like a great choice. What I like to do with my new scales is put a penny on it. A standard US penny is exactly 2.54g. As long as it reads true and doesnt go hopping around on the weight, I would say this looks like a keeper. I guess I'll have to replace my pocket scale soon....

I just want to chime in something that may be obvious to many, but not all, and that is:

GET CALIBRATION WEIGHTS.

Even if you happen to have a high end scale you'll want to check it once in a while.
