I was at the Las Vegas Vapefest and there had a bunch of workshops there.
One of the workshops was about the legal and political issues surrounding electronic cigarettes.
The lady giving the presentation worked for SFATA which apparently is a organization that does political lobbying for vendors.
She claimed that the White House petition was not going to be answered because we did not get 100,000 signatures.
She knew that when our petition started the requirement was 25,000 and that it was raised during the course of our petition.
So I noted that as far as I knew we were supposed to be grandfathered in at the 25,000 level.
But she said that the FDA has specifically indicated they are not going to answer the petition due to us not getting to 100,000 signatures.
