This was unexpected.
I used to play bass in a 50's style band (The Pretensions) where I needed to grease my hair back into a DA ("Duck's ..." for you youngsters) a la Sha Na Na etc. (for us later boomers)
That was back in the very early 80's and I used the same Pomade that was applied to the quiff back in the 50's to do the trick.
Problem was that when I wanted to walk around looking straight (normal looking) during the day I had to shampoo my hair about 3 or 4 times in order to cut through the lanolin (wool grease) and work up a lather.

It's bah-bah-bah-back again with vaping. The glycol gets into my hair and it's damn hard to wash out. I really don't mind all that much considering all of the considerable pluses with vaping. It's just an observation that isn't mentioned much here at the forum, if at all.
It just needs mentioning for documentary purposes.

Well, as soon as we get ourselves cleaned up and we get a little smellum in our hair, why, we're gonna feel 100% better about ourselves and about life in general.
I don't want Fop damn it, I'm a Dapper Dan man!
Well, it didn't look like a two-horse town, but try finding a decent hair jelly.
I like the smell of my hair treatment; the pleasing odor is half the point.
[Upon being startled awake] Mmmm. How's my hair?
Sorry, couldn't help myself. I love that movie (Oh Brother, Where Art Thou) and you reminded me of it.

I SEEN 'EM FIRST!

Just curious. How exactly does one go about getting juice in ones hair?

Constantly vaping in the car, at the computer, watching tv, in the bathroom, etc. About the only time I'm not vaping is when I'm eating, sleeping (I'll have to find a way to do that too), screwing (wife won't let me vape).....and showering (only because I haven't thought of it until now).

Whatever you eat or drink or inhale is going to grow out in your hair. Just the way it is I have been a hairdresser for over 20 yrs. I can tell you how much you drink smoke whatever when I cut your hair you can smell and sometimes see the color change. bassnut if your hair is long and fine like in your avy then it would also pick up oil from your fingers and tip of ecig during the day and look and feel greasy. I would try a clarifying shampoo once a week maybe pony tail the hair to keep it away from your hands.
