This was unexpected.
I used to play bass in a 50's style band (The Pretensions) where I needed to grease my hair back into a DA ("Duck's ..." for you youngsters) a la Sha Na Na etc. (for us later boomers)
That was back in the very early 80's and I used the same Pomade that was applied to the quiff back in the 50's to do the trick.
Problem was that when I wanted to walk around looking straight (normal looking) during the day I had to shampoo my hair about 3 or 4 times in order to cut through the lanolin (wool grease) and work up a lather.
It's bah-bah-bah-back again with vaping. The glycol gets into my hair and it's damn hard to wash out. I really don't mind all that much considering all of the considerable pluses with vaping. It's just an observation that isn't mentioned much here at the forum, if at all.
It just needs mentioning for documentary purposes.
