Some flavours may just not agree with you personally but is fine for others. I make a Blueberry liquid for friends on request every few weeks, they love it! I know the ingredients I'm using, it tastes great to me but after a minute of vaping it upsets my stomach like a flu I had as a kid. Lots of fruity flavours do that to me.

I also had some breathing distress and a very tight upper back when I first started vaping. I stopped all cigarettes and the problems went away in a few days. Every few weeks I'd cheat and try a single cigarette, the symptoms returned. Some people can smoke & vape while others can not. You've spent years pushing toxins & thick Tar in with a chronic applied exposure, it may hurt coming back out. Personally I think it's best to find a good tasting eliquid for yourself with Nicotine and switch completely. Drink lots of water while your body detoxes the tar and 4000+ chemicals you used to inhale with cigarettes.

If it's a pen style e-cig your wanting to try, The Bloog is an excellent choice. The Canadian retailer is HappyVaper.com. The top quality pen style ecigs are the Bloog, the Volt and the Halo G6. All are basically the same and equally good.

If you do try that other $20 7-11 ecig, let us know how it goes! :vapor:

Will do. Way i see it? Might as well do the cheap option first, seeing as i have two of them now and many carts.....LOL this way if it is the lack of nic i can move on from there :D

No idea what's in those particular carts, could be a slight reaction to PG (propylene glycol), not a big deal should pass with time.

Drink like 5x the water you usualy would as well that helps, the main component in ejuice either way you slice it is a dessicant (i.e. it dries you out) .

I thought that with the FUUMA (basically the american version of NZ), so i switched to the NZ that was vegitable based....but i will try the water trick as soon as it gets warmer outside (i tend to freeze easy in the cold weather)

Don't be so quick to sell the NV as u will only get 10 for it lol an 808 battery. The good news is u can order blank 808 cartos here in Canada and get your self a big bottle of quality juice to fill those blanks with. When u been new batteries just buy some generic 808d1 from say canvape. Smoke NV is just a KR 808 with a high price tag

Funny enough, the NV disposable ( got them at a Domo, in Winnipeg) were exactly what triggered me to look into this method of quitting.
I went threw a few of them on odd evenings to see how it would go.
Trying to fallow my wife's footsteps ( she went another rout some months ago ).

I'm now using other products from an online Canadian vendor and doing quite well with it.
The NV by itself would have never done the trick in the long run for me anyhow for various reasons.

With out further detail ... one step led to another. I'm glad I tried the NV and then made the decisions/transition/commitment from there to explore further.

Tried two other over the counter brands from other quick stops around the city and the NV was the only one that was good enough in quality to convince me to try more than once.

Regards,
RMF

*chuckles* you know i was thinking the same thing. I have the Canadian and i think 4 Coffee flavours on it. I thought i would try something new such as the xhale 02 for about $11 i got the disposible one, thought i would be smart to see if i liked it :D the flavour is kind of ok...and honestly after looking at a view video's on youtube i thought it was the kind that auto shut the battery if you took a drag too long......nope i was wrong...anyway long story short i think i am in love with my NV....seeing as i have two batteries, and wondering about wood's comments.....might be worth a shot (and maybe cheaper?)

Great review , but u could get something 100x better then this ... this cost 100$ for a kit ? a kit like that could cost 15$ on chinese site ...
I had to think and wonder what you were saying =)) ok, i see where the confusion is (which is a two parter) first the one i have is Smoke NV Starter Kit not the Smoke NV Duo Kit Pro The extra cart's and battery where a seperate thing. Second i did not pay for them as it was a gift.

Alright after a few days with the Smoking NV, i think i am running into a snag and some problems. I am thinking (and i hope i am wrong here, REALLY REALLY wrong here), but i am thinking i am allergic to glycerine (which is funny as that is the only soap i can use on my skin). searching high and low i came across this as the allergy symptons (well some)
Dry mouth & throat, sores in mouth & throat, and dried out faces This kinda of true, mixed with the hard to breath part
Sore muscles (from the increased amount of lactic acid from glycerol e-liquid) and how! my lower back and bad knee went into over drive, also knuckles on hands
Sore and chafed tounge umm no cannot say that is true
Headaches YES!!! they would wake me up from sleep they were so bad!, now if we add the dizzy spells and itchy skin we are all set. I did follow someone esle's recommendation on the water...well kind of. Last night i bought a bunch of power aide, see if that helped....though i did not vape and it seems to have killed the dizzies and the muscles are starting to feel better. My odd thought to go along with this is: can other smells and impurities mixed with the e-cig trigger all this? I ask as 9 times out of 10 i am burning incesnse...i have neibours in the building that smoke the 4/20 stuff (if you know what i mean) personally i never did anythiing beyound lighting a analogue cigertte....

 I am determined to figure this out....it is about time i get serious about doing something.....and this is it.....If vaping cannot be handled by my body then i am turing to the bringham pipe and Captain black blue back...then about a month later getting bi-foculs and false teeth and a nice comfy rocking chair...oh and pick buny slippers to wear =)) before i do all that i am not going down without a fight with myself :D

In addition to what Classwife has linked to - PG and VG both act as humectants and lead to dehydration if you don't increase your liquid intake.

The symptoms of Dehydration are: headaches, nausea and dizziness. If these occcur - take a good headache remedy and drink things like powerade - or liquids with a high sugar content SLOWLY for a couple hours (don't drink straight water or drink quickly if you think you are dehydrated - this will lead to violent vomiting). If you don't normally drink enough (average adult should drink 2 litres a day in moderate climates) - and are usually on the edge of dehydration - adding a humectant to your daily routine can lead to real problems. So drink - man - drink!

Thank you very much! and thanks for the laugh at the end :D my wife was wondering if it is not the fact that it could be dehydration. The fact i can drink about 3 pots coffee/day (ok mostly it is decaf) is a bad thing as it is, what with being a diaretic....but i did not guess or make the connection with a e-cig..thank you!

Thank you for the pssst and i glanced through it (saving it to a Word Document for my e-reader).....i am guessing this quiting is going to hurt......ALOT?

Everyone goes through something a little different. There are a lot of different symptoms but not everyone gets them, or gets them quite the same way. For example, my symptoms were pretty mild. I went through the periods of flavourless vape, definitely (I think most do for that), had a bit of lung purge, but mostly it was pretty light. But you'll get some symptoms -- good and bad. Most of them won't last too long, so there's that at least, and after a few weeks you'll probably start experiencing much more of the good than the bad.

But yes, definitely drink more. Morning dry/cotton mouth isn't uncommon even for seasoned vapers, but drinking more eliminates the symptoms of mild dehydration. Do pay attention to your habits though as, rather confusingly, the symptoms of dehydration also share many of the same symptoms as nicotine overdose, and one of the other important things about learning your personal vaping habits is getting a bead on how much nicotine your body needs and can handle. I vaped 18mg, moved up to 24mg, and ultimately started getting OD symptoms, so I had to drop to 12mg, which I've been fine with. Some can handle 18 or 24mg or more long-term, but as with all things, everyone is different.

Hunting Wolf, Can I repeat myself from post #19? "You've spent years pushing toxins & thick Tar in with a chronic applied exposure, it may hurt coming back out." ;) You describe yourself as a 2 pack a day smoker of some heavy cigs. We feel for ya! It's so worth the journey so stick with it and keep sharing your explorations. Lots of great people here to bounce off of.

If you PM me your address I'll mail a small care package out to you in 'Friendly Manitoba' next Thursday, a couple of pre-filled cartridges to go on your NV and a couple of labeled 5ml's of liquid

I picked up a Smoke NV Canadian flavour disposable tonight at the Petro Canada. $9.99 One battery and one Canadian Carto. The vapour production is really good! The Flavour is not to my liking at all. There's a mildly rustic tobacco-ish flavour, sweet and a slight Orange note. There's also a bit of a RY4 variant flavour reminiscent of Smokeless Image's RY4 and Freedom Smoke.

There's some throat hit but after vaping it a few times I started feeling irritation in my throat. This irritation progressed as I vaped on and stuck with me after I ceased vaping. Kinda made me feel like I was coming down with strep throat. I'm pretty sure to increase the throat hit in place of the natural throat hit delivered from Nicotine they have formulated the e-liquid with a slightly acetic PH. What I can tell you is that it's really annoying me to vape this stuff! I sorta feel like I'm going to get a splitting headache and a sore throat now.

This product could be good! On a hardware level for a disposable, it does vape well. The textured finish is nice. The Cartomizer is Labeled and it's a great performer. My expectations where exceeded. The Canadian flavour Liquid in the Carto falls short. If they had a true menthol I would definitely try it.

I am not sure if they have them in disposibale....i think they do? I know with the rechargeable's they do have it. I found the Canadian flavour (at first) ok....but the coffee? ARGH! what i find a little annoying not much mind you, is the slight sucking sound, and the pop when you use it...but all in all it is ok....thought i but it on the shelf for now....really trying to figure out a plan of attack to try this all over again :D
