Shelf life on Lithium batteries is amazing

I was cleaning some stuff in my office today and I found my original e-cig from 2 and half years ago. Its a three piece but I don't know which model. I didn't look that close.

Well I took a puff. Weird huh. What is weirder is the little red led came on and I had a real hit. I was able to vape it after 2 1/2 years of sitting in a box.

I find that amazing.

I feel like putting one of my Bloog Maxx Fusion batteries in a box and do a time capsule thing and see if I can vape it after a year or two.

Actually, you'll need to open the time capsule a bit earlier. We only have about 20 more months of vaping left. 12/21/12 is approaching.

haha.. I really don't believe that! The Mayan's had a circular calendar.. When our calendar stops at Dec 31st no one says thats the end.. We get a new one. Their's lasted centuries. They figured they would make a new one when the time came.

Just make sure you have plenty of cartos in that kit.
Be a shame to have a charged battery and nothing to vape.

Good information, but BMF batteries are Li-Po, not Li-ion.

Yeah I know but even the article is confused because for Figure One they start by saying Lithium Polymer and then call them Lithium Ion

This thread reminded me that I have a design in my head for a sunlight powered PV. No electrics, just glass, stem, magnifying glass. It's going to look very illegal, and won't really work for vaping on the run (or cloudy days!), just be a fun proof of concept.

That may be because a Li-Poly IS a lithium ion battery but having a different form of electrolyte.
