I asked the vet last week if she could remove grumpys abscess or give antibiotics to slow it down . She basically said nothing would help it. Then I noticed it turning black and then slowly shrivelling up. Then the past couple days it’s been starting to peel off in one piece. Last night I noticed it hanging off his chin like a scab. This morning it fell right off and it looks like when a human peels a scab off now but he can eat better and bath better. He looks more relieved than when it was red and growing bigger.

Probably all that good nutrition you are giving him is making him healthier and his body is fighting off the infection. YAY!
I was very happy to see that video earlier today when I was reviewing my YouTube subscriptions. He's got to feel so much better with that thing gone. And that it dropped off certainly suggests some good healing is going on. Maybe he's going to be okay!
I got a bunch of items delivered from the down under version of Walmart today. New storage shelves, drawer tidys etc. Also got Luna a larger food bowl, and a high-sided litter box.
Thankfully she was sleeping while I unloaded it all. But when she woke up, she didn't know what to explore first
She's like a monkey when new things get put in her environment.
Anyway, since she just used the litter box, I now know that passed muster

My guy Joe is my fav man in the whole world but he is messy in the litter box. I bought a used trunk, cut a hole in the side of it and then lined the inside with contact paper. The inside of the darn thing is Cherry wood and so nice with hinges and all. When I was done and turned it on its side to put felt covers on the feet, I saw the label and darned if it is not from Pottery Barn. Nothing but the best for my guy Joe. lol

I wanted to get an enclosed litter box for the litter flicking Luna. But she's too damn tall to fit in one
Joe is pretty tall too. This trunk is 22 inches tall and his other covered litter box is only 18 inches tall. I have bought those things from Chewy and other places that are supposed to look like an end table. They work but are practically made out of cardboard and like $120 bucks. I paid $30 for this trunk and felt like I got a deal but once I turned it over and saw Pottery Barn I knew I got the deal of the century
I lined this potty box with adhesive shelf paper (joe approved, no flowers)
As soon as someone strong comes over I intend to do away with his eating table and make the top of trunk his table. It has to be high so the dog will not help herself. His stairs (seen by his table) will lead to the top of his trunk.
