These are wonderful Ange!A few years ago, I started doing paverpol sculptures. They are garden ornaments that arwe made completely from aluminium wire, masking tape and tinfoil for the body shape

You then use recycled cotton t-shirts to enclose the body frames. Final step is to make clothes from the cotton t-shirts and hair from unraveled muslin cloth. They are then coated in paverpol - a mix of glue and colours. These harden, and become completely element proof.
I loved doing it, as it brought out my creative side. But it's hard to do with hand arthritis - regardless of that, it is something I'm going to start doing again.
The Victorian Sitting Lady was my first sculpture. Followed that with The Fisherman, and finally my Garden Fairy. The Fairy was 100% my own design. The other 2 were done in a workshop training class.

I went into the pet shop I always go to after work to get my bunnies their favourite treats on a stick and pellets.
This one woman when she is working keeps telling me I need to get the other boy neutered and I’d say I know I just can’t afford to do them all at once. Shed says yea well I have vet bills that are 1200 bucks for dental surgery for my dogs etc. She would keep it up every time. then when sassy had babies she kept saying I told you so ! She said that she would adopt them out of the store though if I got them fixed. I guess she’s the manager. I thought that was nice of her.
Then today I told her they all passed away and how upset it made me. She said what?! How did they all die?! That’s so weird Mabye you just shouldn’t have bunnies. She’d say mmmh that’s so strange. I just said I don’t think it’s anything I did I tried so hard I kept them warm etc.
She then told me I should think about handing my other rabbits over to some society that relocates the feral rabbits on the island. She said they are going to handle the ones by my work. I said what they just killed all the bunnies over at the university and the hospital then told people they relocated them.
She said no they relocated them.
I was in shock and just shouldn’t have even said anything to her or explain myself. I can’t believe she was making me feel so bad. Now I am worried that she phoned some place to come grab the rabbits around my work to be killed thinking thy are a problem because of her.
With all the money I spend there too she should just learn to shut up .
MY rabbits are all happy healthy and loved.
Treating me As if i murdered all the baby bunnies

I know right. I came home upset about it and my mom wants to go in there and flip on her.
She even said as I was leaving that what I’m doing is technically illegal. That it should be up to the professionals to rescue the rabbits.
God what an ignorant know it all. Giving the bunnies a loving home and even taking them to the vet for check up and to be fixed. What a crime. I even kept the couples together so they wouldn’t be Apart. Stevie is fluffys wife and sassy and bugs have always been a pair. I even spent all the time making sure they had a good sized home with stuff to play in and with.
I cut up fresh fruits and veggies every day and Am out there at 6 am giving them plenty of hay and water. They all seem happy to me. Better than being in a lumber yard.

don't listen to negative people. I get it all the time when I am trapping and spaying/neutering cats. I wonder though if she alerted anyone to the ones by your work. Be careful of her and do not tell her any more stuff.
Yes I won’t I don’t even want to go back. It just sucks they have so much good bunny stuff. My mom said I should have left the stuff there and not bought it but I said the bunnies love their treats .
She was all for it before telling me Stevie will be killed if I don’t bring her home. But now she’s changed her tune.
They were happy with their stuff though
Do not take one individuals word. Quick search, the BC SPCA does not euthanize healthy animals entering their shelters. There maybe conditions to this, you will have to investigate.

I’ll be keeping an eye on the bunnies at my work like I always do. I got a good view of their general area so I can see anyone rounding up bunnies.

Thanks there was some areas in town where rabbits had been let loose for years. My sister told me they had to be killed because there were so many. But to prevent public outcry they say they relocated them to another area.
I told the vet I took fluffy to where he came from and they just said that’s so great you care about the bunnies so much. They didn’t say oh that’s illegal.
I do not want to say if what your sister says is fact or not. There maybe conditions to a feral population. I honestly do not know, and your region will be different than mine. If concerned, pose your question to that site I linked above.
Here in Toronto we have a racoon issue. So much so, Toronto has been coined the racoon capital of the world. Racoons are wild, they cannot be adapted as a pet. But we have a no euthanization policy for healthy racoons. Should the population get out of hand, we just dress them up as rats and send them to Manhattan. Joking aside, we actually capture them and set them free up north.

That’s just what she says I’m not sure how exactly she knows but I said how they were relocated and she said no they had to kill most of them. Her husband is a cop and she’s a social worker in the town so I don’t know I assume they know more than me since I live 45 minutes away from that town.
Apparently some said to use the meat for home less people or less fortunate but they were worried of diseases so they couldn’t harvest them for their meat either
I was saying the other day how I wished I had a cow and a pig at my place as well but I think my landlord would draw the line there haha
