Happy Christmas Eve to all the pets and their servants owners!

Ricky, I'd really give some benadryl and a muzzle a shot to manage Toby. After a few times he should get sorta used to it, and if you have your own shears and simply keep him short you can save yourself a bunch of money. I've only used a professional groomer for my American Eskimo because it was dealing with an outer and undercoat which I didn't have the skill for to maintain the right shape. My Pomeranian was fine if I did a puppy cut with the loin mane thing, but she got an occasional professional grooming as well.

My lab, well, if I pointed at the bathroom she just went and hopped in the tub and waited for me. Then again, she kinda knew what was coming as she'd probably just rolled all over something that was dead.

I wonder if you confide in this vet, about what you are doing, keeping the rabbits safe and all. Maybe he would offer a discount. Don't you have another boy? As long as you got the boys done you might be fine from there on out

I told every vet I talked to including this one that these are rabbits that have been dumped off and abandoned I’d like to bring home but want to get them neutered. Each one had a flat rate and no discount. I talked with this woman for a while and showed her pictures on my phone of them at my work and while she was amazed she wouldn’t offer a discount. She said the world needs more people like you and thought what I was doing was awesome.

She was nice and loved fluffy said he was beautiful with a nice
Coat of fur and healthy weight. She talked about how horrible it is people dumped them like that and I did say it would be nice if there were programs to help spay and neuter these guys like they do with cats. I said how to had to raise money to do fluffy and wished I could do the others but just can’t now.

That sounds weird to me. I'd love to have the owners hold their pets. Much easier on me! Plus its just wrong to charge for an extra person when you volunteered. Don't pay for an extra person. Tell them you'll do it for free.
Yea I know right. I’ll ask and if she says no then I’ll just say forget it.

My work has a few platters put out for Christmas. No one was taking veggies so I loaded up on them for Stevie... mainly carrots. She’s happy. I will try to get her again after Christmas break. She’s so cute she comes hopping up to me to see what I have .

I tried to groom mine once. Was sick of paying 65ish and bought a pair of dog grooming shears. OMG. I quickly realized the groomers earn their money. My dog has 3-4 layers of fur and it went everywhere. I do keep her brushed good and that helps keep the coasts down and she loves it.

So what's goin' on at Sloth's place? :?:

Well, we finally got heat back this morning so that's nice, but, the heat just...wouldn't stop heating.

Finally, sweat pouring down its furry face, the sloth ventured into the basement where he was immediately greeted upon opening the door with...vapor. Lots of vapor.

Hot water tank flooding the basement. Hot. Very hot basement. Very hot house. Very hot sloth.

Furnace is now shut off, fuel company is coming to fix it again

In other news, this pistachio RY4 sure does taste mighty fine. :thumb:

Come home, Stevie! Come home

I wish she were safely home for Christmas.
Me too. I think if I set the trap up On one side of the house that now has two entrances it may work. She could walk through and see the food then go in.

Fluffy would be happy he loves Stevie too. Now that I have the rabbit sanctuary pretty well done i can handle bringing her home. I want her too. I love these other guys I brought home a lot but Stevie is still my girl. She is a sweetheart

I learned how to use the clippers after my toy poodle had a stroke. She had a wonderful groomer, but I was just too nervous to let the dog out of my sight.

My black Pom has never been to a groomer. He was the most aggressive dog I’d had. Took a lot of time and stubbornness to get him to even let me brush him. A few times he had a little sedative, and he was pretty good after that. My other Pom, Millie, loved it. She loved a bath, a brushing, clippers... she was getting pampered and loved the attention. Rudy puts up with it now, but he was terrified when I first got him.

I’ve had a lot of high-maintenance dogs. That’s a big part of the reason I wanted a Frenchie. Wash and go. I can do her whole routine in the time it took to get Millie wet to the skin, lol.

Merry Christmas Eve.

Went to my sisters house tonight after work and let my niece open the present I got her. A Barbie RV toy. Gave their retriever A big bone he loved as well.

Good job! Looks like both were a smashing success!

Rudy’s a little old for toys, but he looked them over approvingly before Georgia woke up.

MERRY CHRISTMAS Chatter's, heading over to my daughter's house to watch my grandson's reaction to his Christmas gift from her and my son in law. He just turned 18 and they bought him a car. My wife and I are bringing the giant bow to put on top of it, he is such a great kid and deserves it.
