Another ice storm cometh. An inch of ice is predicted, twice as bad as last time. This is the warmest, iciest winter I've ever seen. It's totally whack. Spring can't come soon enough.

I saw Rush in L.A. sometime around 84-85. I always loved the song Limelight. Aside from this happening during my using days, I also belonged to an elitist group, we believed and practiced a third type of sight and viewing the world around us. Rush was a fav among us.

Found Stevie’s baby not too far from my work. Hadn’t seen him in a long time! Little Goldie is growing up.

I’ll gladly send you some “Spring”... it’s in the 60’s and has been raining sideways all morning. Once it stops and the pumps clear water off the streets, I can get out for errands. Critical lack of both kitty food and litter tops the list. And.....Trying to decide whether or not to text my Vet. Monk has been waking up several times the last couple of nights with fits of coughing and wheezing. If he was human, I’d say he sounds like someone with congestive heart failure and associated cardiac asthma. Not sure if that applies to dogs. I really just don’t want to know, I can feel a rip in my heart starting.

Will Goldie be brought over to where her mom is?

I was thinking about it. Stevie just doesn’t want to be caught. It’s been so cold, windy and rainy lately. She just doesn’t want to come home.

I think I could get the baby to go in the trap he’s always really hungry and hanging over by a Uhaul building behind a dumpster. Feel bad for him . Stevie and the baby parted ways a long time ago but she would probably like to see him.

I dunno. Close does always matter with wild animals as they are FAST. One false move and she would be gone. I am sure I could not do it.

3 inches of rain. Flood warning. An inch of ice later tonight. Power outages expected. Mrs Sloth spending the night at the station as all emergency personnel are on call. Who wouldn't love a "winter" vacation at Sloths place?

what's the best type of brush for a medium hair cat? Luna has bunny soft fur, with a pretty dense undercoat. She's either part maine ...., ragdoll something similar. She sheds a lot, and I want to remove as much by brushing. as I can

I was just thinking the same thing.. so much rain and I worked so hard on this canopy and shelter for my rabbits only to have it collapse from the rain. Now the snow is coming in a few days. I’m doing my best to fix it with wood as supports sine the metal is bent.

Just sucks I don’t want My rabbits to be buried under snow .

I love the smell of my bunnies though when you pick one up and put it to your face or walk into their habitation .

Poor fluffy came out to explore today and bugs attacked him ripping some fur off of poor fluffy. I had to pick him up and save him. Fluffy didn’t even fight back he just came running up the ramp to me to pick him up

I like just a wire brush and if you hold it at a certain angle, one you can practice to achieve, you can get a lot of loose fur out. The slicker brushes are pretty intense and although they are good at removing hair, they are also not something the kitty will enjoy as much as just a wire brush

These guys sure love their hay. Gotta throw down a bunch a few times a day for them to graze on constantly. Of course I gotta keep the litter bin stocked up wth fresh hay because as you can see with sassy she loves to nibble on it while she does her business.

Morning peeps and pets.

Was abruptly woken by and emergency alert on my mobile phone. Scared the bejesus out of me. Zelda was sound asleep beside my head, she ran into a closet thinking it was a raid from the feds! She is out now, but has been yelling at me this past 5 min for scaring her – as if it was my fault. I’ll have to make her bacon and waffles for breakfast, otherwise I will not hear the end of it.

Apparently, something happened at a nuclear power plant just outside Toronto and the alert was to inform people of no danger. If there is no danger, then why the alert!

The alert was in error! Godzilla is not terrorizing our nuclear power plant! And of course they have send out another alert, informing the first alert was in error! Again, scared the sh** out of the cat (and myself) – had to use a crow bar to pry her off the ceiling! She still thinks this is my doing and is still yelling at me! On top of the bacon and waffles she had for b-fest, I now have to make fried chicken for lunch.

And thats not the end, with all the rain we’ve had lately, and the plummeting temperatures, Toronto is heading into a deep freeze. Already had a power failure this morning. It’s going to be one of those days. Must be 5pm somewhere, I need a drink!
