More please! they are amazing. How's Georgia been doing?

She’s starting to settle in. She’s such a stickler for routines, that’s made it rough for us. Because we just don’t have to do the whole wake up and bedtime thing we had to do for Rudy. But this gal has an internal clock, and we did 7 am and pm for Rudy’s pills etc. it was tough for her to change. They used to sleep in the bathroom, but I let her sleep with me now. Several nights I had to put her in the bathroom alone because she fussed so much. Only for 20 minutes or so, then I’d go get her lol, she’d be lonely.

But she lost the extra weight she’d gained when I was trying to keep him from wasting away, so that’s good.

Definitely seeking down and growing less puppy-like looking. My guess is he was much younger than thought

Agree. I don’t know how they thought 2 based on that first picture. I would’ve guessed 7-9 months. He still looks like a baby to me.

They just guessed, yes. They also thought he was a rottie/pomeranian mix. Pretty sure he’s just a byb, not close to “standard”, surprise purebred. But, I love him no matter what he is. Himself is just smitten. It’s really cute.

He is adorable! I really hope there’s no Pomeranian in him. I’ve had a few, some are quite sweet, if easily spoiled and demanding. But two of them were very alpha, and the most aggressive dogs I’ve ever had. The only reason they were manageable was their diminutive size. Easy to control somebody you can stuff in your handbag.

And I’ve had shepherds, elkhounds, a chow, and a Doberman/coyote/lab mix. Little Ozzy would have been the boss of all of them.

Def agree on Poms. My SIL had a black one named Smoky that my brother called demon dog behind her back lol. Beautiful dog, but definitely Alpha and his temperament ran hot and cold.
Since we had no idea of what he was, I sent his dna to Cornell Vet School. Breed results came with the genetic health report, including a COI and orthopedic clearance certification (just for my vet since he’s fixed and won’t need it for breeding). He came back 100% rottweiler. Knocked me flat surprised. Usually byb dogs have a little something else mixed in, but his direct relatives in their data base are all registered akc, and mostly in Cali. No idea how he ended up here so far away.

My heart is broken. Little Shelby was PTS this morning. She wasted away to nothin in two days and was not breathing well. Either a reaction to the vaccine or what I suspect, the dread FIP. Feline Infectious Peritonitis

It breaks my heart when an innocent animal dies. So sorry.

Poor little angel. I know you both tried so hard to save her.

I'm relieved to hear she's doing better. I hope you are, too.

I have not checked in here because I cannot bear to see her picture. Such a depressing weekend.
The others are doing fine so far but I suspect FIP and if that is the case they will eventually succumb. Sometimes over a few months can pass before another sibling gets it. The vaccine did her in. I always say I will never do this again because it hurts my heart so but we will see.

Aw I’m so sorry. At least the little baby got to feel loved in her short time on earth . I was so devastated when Sassys first litter of little baby bunnies all died one by one within a week after trying so hard to save them.
