Hey guys. Was just chatting with one of my suppliers from China & thought I'd give everyone a heads up in case they may be wondering or having the same issues.
Was talking with Min from Vaporbreak & it seems they are experiencing some delays/problems with the postal service/customs right now.
Seems outgoing parcels containing batteries &/or eliquid are under close scrutiny right now & many are not being allowed to pass.
This seems to be the result of stricter measures enforced by the Chinese customs for the holiday period & by all accounts should be temporary.
Whether or not this is so, it seems many parcels were returned to them & it was enough to get them worried, since this is something, if it continues, would impact every Chinese exporter. Delays during the holiday season are normal, but this is the first time they had packages returned stating that "batteries & liquid are currently restricted".
Compounding the problem, there is now a large backlog of orders waiting to be sent out by several Chinese vendors in general which may take some days to clear up once (hopefully) the customs regulations revert to normal.
At any rate, they sent out some "test" parcels of batteries & eliquids today so they'll know more in a couple days if things are back to normal.
The amount of business the Chinese do, I'm sure they'll find a workaround if they have to regardless.
So if anyone else is worrying/anxious/perturbed about any pending deliveries (like me lol) that seems to be the situation.
