Shipping from GearBest

I ordered from GearBest for the first time. The item shipped on 9/11 and the carrier was was listed as Netherlands Post surface mail, but the link takes me to Shenzhen Beishisheng Logistics.Co.,Ltd. The bellow is the last message posted. Is this a concern? It looks like it's still in customs or does this just mean it was passed to the USPS?

Depends on where it's at, most orders hit Chicago for customs then sit there a few days. So without knowing where in the US it's at it's hard to say if it's passed customs or not.
Most orders from Gearbest take two weeks to get to me in KS.

Once it hits customs then it does not matter who it shipped from.My last order from china cleared NYC customs and was delivered in 10 days from ordering.The order before sat in NYC customs for seven weeks.

So, should it be listed on Shenzhen Beishisheng Logistics.Co.,Ltd after it hits the USPS or is that as far as their tracking goes? I ordered some stuff from FT a day or two after and I've had it for a few days now I sent a msg to GB and they just sent me a form letter saying that shipping can take from 10-25 days.

For whatever reason I have noticed that GB is much slower shipping experience overall than what FT is. And I never thought I would say that some other company is slower than FT, but GB wins that price

When I ordered from gearbest.com it was USPS that put the package in my mailbox. In theory there is an associated tracking number with your package (possibly the same tracking number from the Netherlands post). Having said that I did find the whole process quite frustrating in regards to the lack of clear communication on how I could track my package and when I could expect it to be delivered. All and all this seems pretty common place for ordering from that particular site.

Gearbest is great. But it can't be for anything time sensitive. Just roll with it and be happily surprised when it shows up.

I just rcvd 4 18650 batts from them 2 days ago took 6 weeks. I'm happy since no one else is shipping them. All of my orders have taken at least 3 weeks, but they all arrived.

Actually my tracking with gb worked this time. I guess it took me a few years to figure out how it worked. Something like a cgyx site but when I got there and put in the tracking it showed up. My order showed up with a european postmark.

A few month ago I ordered marmite from Amazon. It was shipped from London (UK, not KY). Delivery took a month. Even worse than delivery from China.

I'm just saying, I paid the 15 bucks for DHL once and got the item a week after I ordered it. Guess you get what you pay for.
