What your seeing now is like we in the 'old days' called 'Work to Regulations' and/or 'a Go Slow' initiated by the union. It always seemed counter productive to me to do this when a business (or government controlled entity) was in jeopardy. But when you're endeavouring to keep your job you'll can be talked into trying almost anything.

Just my observation.

oh i think so too, its either union or they totally shifted the way they handle first class, they even changed express to 2 day, no more next day gaurentee, but priority is a big part of usps and it has a gaurentee as well. so those usually get there when epexected, going through fedex is 7 bucks and isnt much different then priority with usps.

and new york is a union machine so if thats whats happening then i wouldnt be surprised at all, especially since im hearing about issues with other vendors in key cities as well, so the union thing does make sense, at the same time usps is in the crapper financially so layoff could be a factor as well.

Who you callin a .... hat?

Priority is still the only way to go... Ordered on the 24th, accepted on the 25th, delivered on the 27th

Hey, if it gets my stuff here faster I'm going to be a .... hat, too. This USPS behavior isn't that recent for me. Everything I've ordered from GotVapes has traveled slower than I can walk for the first three days. Next order goes priority.

Bad it must be certian offices. I ordered from two vendors again one in Florida and another in Cali. They both got here in TWO days shipped First Class. You sent me two packages recently. One on the 20th and one on the 22nd. I got the latter after 5 days but the first you sent is STILL in Whitestone. This is none of your fault of course. Maybe the Whitestone office is ridiculously slow. Actually there's no maybe about it. Everyone is experiencing it with that office.

We are doign the best we can do get all orders ordered by 9am EST down to the Post Office that same day.

I personally believe the USPS is in a state of flux thanks to Congress inability to finalize things, etc....in other words the USPS management doesn't know which way is up right now so they are staffing on the fly.

Personally I feel this will work itself out. It would really help for people to call their congressional offices and let them KNOW you NEED them to fully support the USPS. Before all this toying with their funds they never had any problems and provided an incredible service. Support OUR USPS...

Let's hope that the USPS doesn't fall victim to the 'crony capitalism' trend that has taken over parts of our economy and is becoming 'business as usual'. FedEx and UPS is silently cheering on any dismantling of the services we get from OUR USPS...

I am gettign more and more emails about packages and I ask everyone to please allow at least a week before you email in and ask about where a package is. I had a customer completely dress us down (several in the past week but one in particular was not pleasant to deal with) saying we were lying when we told him we took the package down within a day of their order because the package didn't show acceptance for two days. I had to go back and forth with this individual, patiently, explaining that routinely anymore, they sometimes take a day or so before they scan the package in at the local office for acceptance, soemthing we can't avoid - and this takes time, causes stress, etc...
