I been vaping since the 19th.. The first day, I went to the mall with my wife to shop for gifts.. I stopped a security guard in the mall to ask if I can vape inside the halls and stores and they okayed it..

I then went to a restaurant which is in one of those retail / condo new development areas and vaped in public... Suprisingly, the people around me were not complaining but rather asking what is that and giggling at the green LED when I was drawing vapor lol..

Finally, I went to see a movie the same night after diner and sat away from the projector so the vapor cloud would not cause a problem with the movie.. someone tried to complain and a manager came in to try and see who is "Smoking"... the movie kinda sucked so I went ahead and vaped thinking to myself I wouldnt care if i got kicked out.. So he seen the LED and knew what it was right away and just left.. I wish I knew who snitched so I can see the look on his or her face lol ...

Well, as much as I would enjoy vaping in the movie theatre I can't help but think about how ANNOYING I find it when people flip open a cell phone etc.. I HATE the distraction of anything lighting up in the dark theatre. Anyone who uses ANYTHING that lights up is......well.....pretty much a total jerk  So unless you can be sure your PV is not creating ANY light whatsoever DON'T use it!!!! As far as creating vapor goes, I would say if you are creating a noticeable vapor cloud-even if you manage to hide the LED then.....well....you are still pretty much a jerk. Sorry if I piss anyone off. Just IMHO.

lol...yer right. The XHALER has no light and I was sitting at the very back, so there was no one behind me.

I was a "mindful" analong smoker and I'm a "mindful" vaper - meaning, I'm not looking for attention and don't create huge billows of vapor just 'cause I can.

I agree with you on creating a noticeable vapor cloud in a theater. ....lol...I'm one of those people that HATE talkers, texters, and crying babies in theaters.

I must be feeling pretty ancient right about now. I remember when it was perfectly acceptable to smoke analogs in movie theaters!

Sometimes we'd bring in our own booze and "stealth" drink too!8-o

Wasn't too long ago you could smoke in that cafeteria car on an Amtrak train. The door would open to a 12' x 8' glass room and a wall of smoke and ashtray smell would hit you like a Mack truck when you walked in. 5 minutes after returning to your seat you couldn't wait to go back.

I remember smoking on an Amtrak train in the designated smoking car (people scrambled to get a seat in there before it filled up!), but by the time I ever flew anywhere, flights were all non-smoking. Now I vape, though, so I don't care :)

When it comes to public places, like the mall and restaurants and stuff, I usually just pop into the bathroom to use my e-cig. Oh but I did vape in the dressing room at Old Navy the other day. And I've vaped while browsing various stores before, but I'm stealthy about it. I cover the light, hold the vapor in a little longer and blow it downward. I think if anyone even noticed, the vapor was gone before their brain could even register that they saw something ;)

I've been wondering about movie theaters. I haven't actually been to the movies since I quit analogs, but next time I go, I'm going to want to vape at my seat. I think I can be stealthy enough that no one will see the LED or any vapor. Good to know some have already done it, though.

Ah yes, I remember, too. The golden years :). I think it's ok to vape at a theater, but I also think it should be in stealth mode. We vape to get our nic, not to be buttholes. Respect can go far in helping win over public opinion toward ecigs ;).

Went to see avatar two days back, a regular hot dog was $7.50 ,the "black angus" hot dog $8.00.At those prices they should have crowd ordered intermissions and a seat ushers too.

Now-a-days, I'll just wait for it to come out on DVD, or d/l it online. I've never really liked movie theaters, wish drive-in's had never disappeared.
