I vape stealth at most places but I must say the bar at my local Salt Grass is the most vape friendly place ever they have several regulars who vape and will tell anyone who complains that we are not smoking and have educated themselves on how to handle the "cough coughers" who are a big ole pain in the ..... The Managers are wonderful and very supportive of us former smokers who can now sit at the bar and enjoy a beer or a glass of wine and watch a ball game without having to run outside to get a fix.

New to it, accustomed to going outside, etc. But have vaped in airplane terminals and onboard, always in the restroom. Haven't smoked and drove years, but now I vape and drive and haven't smoked indoors in over a decade, now I no longer need to step out.

But I am definitely not trying to bring any attention to it nor defying the social stigma associated with smoking.

I don't get the people saying they asked permission, were denied, but all was OK because they stealth vaped.

That's like saying, "I asked if I could carve my initials into the table and they said "No", so I just did it when they weren't looking. It's cool..."

I don't believe in stealth vaping (or really anything else). I vape openly where I have permission and don't vape where I don't.

I sit all day, every day in my office in the Federal Building and blow clouds freely and openly. Noone questions it other than, "Hey Mark, what are you vaping today? That smells great!" Or, "When are you going to bring that German Chocolate Cake juice back to work?"

As more and more people start to vape, I will eventually lobby the Director's office to make an official ruling, which could go either way. I have given demonstrations to upper level management, with no complaints.

Got away with it everywhere. Plane, supermarket, bars, clubs, plane, college, and so on.
I take my freedom of blowing out water vapour pretty seriously. The only time I had a problem was at a club here in Montreal. The dumb ... bouncer told me that I was "promoting" indoor smoking, and that if I didn't stop I'd have to leave. I told his that if he kicked me out the club would receive a call from lawyers the next day. When he saw I was serious, he left me alone.
