short kr8 batts

I ordered a kr8 starter kit from Litecig. The batteries are short! nowhere in the item description did it say so. I am dissapointed to say the least, They dont last very long either, and one of the reasons I wanted a kr8 was becasue I heard that the batts last a bit longer than the 510. Fortunately I got some proper sized batteries from a forum friend, and heaven-gifts. The Litecig batts dont fit my PCC even. holy moly!

well there are 3 different lengths of those batteries. you mean it wont thread into the pcc at all????

when we got different batteries we also took the 280mah listing out of the description.i guess i will have to adjust it so everyone understands it

they are too fat for the pcc, you risk pressing the button when you close it.

ahh they are manual. i havnt checked to see if the manual batteries will work in the pcc yet. you would think they would be the same as they are true kanger batteries too same as the pcc.

i just tried 3 batteries all differnt, in 2 different pcc and they work fine. coud be you need to thread it a hair more on so the button is facing either up or down an not to the side.

still, you did not specify that the batteries are short in item description. and they dont thread with the button away from the side, should I leave them loose?

if you really are not happy send it back to me for a refund. it has to be in a padded envelope with everything included. i will refund you the price of the kit minus shippng and any other items.

not happy with it, but I need to keep it, 2 short batts better than no extra batts... I need them. Just change your description of the item, Im sure this wont happen again.

I noticed this as well, but it didn't bug me once I determined that the buttons weren't getting pressed with the lid shut despite the awkward-looking positioning (and what harm can the button do when the chip in the battery is already letting the charge flow anyway?). One of mine screws down at a sane angle, while the other has its button fall right at the side of the plastic tray (where there's the least play), which is probably what the issue is here.

There's about a quarter turn of play in the connector - from wrenched tight to vaguely-loose-but-still-making-good-contact - so if you can get it facing slightly up or down that should do it. Until someone talks them into developing a magnetic connector (and battery?) it seems like it's going to be a quirk of the model and the otherwise-clever design of the PCC.

If I recall correctly:

Short - 180 mah
Standard - 280 mah
XL - 380 mah
