I'm expecting an order from Wiz Labs in a day or two, some 100mg nicotine, but I think it's going to be here before payday (Monday) which is the first money I'll have to order some small glass bottles to freeze it in; I'm wondering if storing it for a few days to a week in the fridge is ok, or will harm it in any way?

Thx!

Totally cool. Literally, in the fridge. Short-term storage even at room temperature (but out of sunlight) would be absolutely no issue.

The refrigerator is a perfect choice.

Yep, yep, yep, yep, yep.........

(hard to mix though right out of the fridge)... take it out a few hours before you are gonna be mixing....

It's weird, but I have no issues and my fridge is set cold to begin with. It might be that I'm using PG-based nicotine, but it's no problem to work with and draws easily into my syringe (I use one without a needle).

During my visit to Wizard Labs, John, the owner, talked to me about storing nicotine. He said that while they ship it in plastic containers they recommend storing in glass bottles. It is known that the nicotine will, long term, react to the plastic (actually probably the other way around). I had purchased 100mg/500ml bottle. He recommended that I get some 120ml glass bottles and divide it up, putting three glass bottles in the freezer (inside a plastic baggie) and working from what was left in the plastic container it came in. That plastic container with the remainder should last me several months, so apparently storage in the plastic container is no considered a problem for that amount of time.

Well as I said, it's short-term, until I can order and then receive the 30ml glass bottles I'm going to freeze it in.

No plans to use it anytime soon; I'm hedging my bets on the forthcoming "vapocalypse", so if the FDfA gets a wild hair to tax the hell out of nicotine, I'll have some already. Only getting 120ml right now, but planning to make regular orders of 120ml per month. What I ordered is the PG based nicotine, but I'm planning to dilute it to 50mg, using 75PG/25VG, before freezing it, since the nic level I actually use is 10mg AT THE MOST, and usually 6-8mg, and I won't ever need a large quantity of very high concentration nicotine at any one time. Mainly I want it so that if I have to order my favorite Virginia (which I CANNOT reproduce myself) in 0mg formulation, I'll have my own nicotine to add to it, and by keeping it at least at the 50mg level, I won't need to add much nicotine, quantity-wise, so it shouldn't dilute the taste too drastically. So what I'll wind up with, from this order, is 8 30ml bottles of 50mg nicotine.

Other flavors, especially fruit flavors, I most likely *can* reproduce, but that Virginia has me worried, since I cannot reproduce that flavor myself.
