Short wick vs standard wick on rba.

Can you guys tell me what the adv/disadv of having a shorter wick on my rba? I use a 400mesh & 32g wire z-atty pro rba.

Shorter wicks can be a pain as the tank runs low.

cant say ive ever seen anyone use a short wick in a geni, maybe one thats been pulled off the bottom but not purposely shortened.
there would be no reason to use a shorter wick as it would mean constant tilting to keep the wick good and wet. the longer(and more) wick in the tank the better.

Thanks for the reply. I just saw a guy on YouTube with a short wick. I was curious if what it does for the RBA's.

most likely its just not stuck in all the way i see several people who seem to keep the wick a few mm off the bottom of the tank.

I know with soft wick clearos the belief was the different additives in the juice wick at different speeds and long wicks may "separate the juice/flavorings as they make their way to the coil changing the flavor.
if anything he may be on that route also.... who knows.. but in general the longer the better i think. i have mine all the way to the bottom so i can every last drop lol
