What is the shortest VV mod out there, that will still take an 18650 battery? It seems to me, that if they were to flatten out the electronics inside, they could basically make a vv mod that was pretty close to the same height of an 18650 battery. Maybe just like 1 cm taller. That way, you could get as tall of an atty as you wanted. Even the kayfun and the Kracken would be no issue, because as tall as they are, they just wouldn't add up to much if they were only sitting on something as tall as an 18650.

So what's the shortest vv out there that still takes an 18650? My vamo is just to freakin tall. It does not lend itself to portability in the pockets. I already have a cell phone, a wallet, and my keys to carry around with me. Last thing I need is this flashlight-esque mod weighing me down. Its time to make a switch.

Not exactly easy to fit all the the electronics, contacts, buttons, connector etc in a 1cm thick by 19-22mm diameter space.

Can't really answer this question correctly without measurements. All measurements of my Sigelei Zmax Telescopic were made with calipers spanning the bottom of the battery cap and the top of the 510/eGo connector.

-With 18650 the Sigelei Telescopic tube is fully extended at 5 1/32" or 128 mm long.
-With 18500 it's 4 7/16" or 112 mm long.
-At 18350 the tube is fully closed down and measures 4 1/8" or 105 mm (100 mm with the shorter of the two provided battery caps).

Overall diameter of the tube is 23mm.

Sigelei Zmax Telescopics have a telescopic tube so the APV length will be different with different battery lengths. This design makes extension tubes and mini models unnecessary.

Smoktech VV Gripper box mod takes an 18650 IMR. Ohm and voltage meter. Nice LED screen. 3 button control, top fire button. Rubberized-feel plastic body.
