Anyone know of any exciting developments coming down the pike in the next six months?
I don't really need to buy a new VV/VW right now, but I just sold off my old Sigelei 20w (my last VV/VW) with the intent of applying the cash to a new VV/VW box mod, so…I'm a little itchy.
Generally looking at the 100w level. I like running the majority of my drippers/dual-coil tanks in the .4-.6 range, though I've got a Mutation set up at .2, so it would be good to be able to run all of them at full 4.2v.
That said, I can always continue to run my cloud chasers on mechanicals (I don't cloud chase too often), so that's not a deal breaker. That's also why the new IPV 70w seems appealing (and I don't necessarily mind lugging around extra batts) - I can run most of my current setups on it (obviously, my .4-.45 setups will not run full 4.2v, unfortunately) and will not have to buy new batteries.
I would like to be able to build one build for both mechanical (for when I go out) and for VV/VW. I don't want to have to buy double the atties just to have the same set-up available for each rig.
I've been debating the one-battery/two-battery boxes - one-battery is nice for small form factor and ability to use the half-dozen batteries I am currently running; two-battery is nice for, well, two batteries, lol (though it also includes the less appealing "double the amount of batteries I have to buy" feature, which will add to my costs significantly).
Is there a good reason to wait a while to get my next VV/VW? Or are we looking at a box mod sweet spot for the time being?
