So I've recently upgraded myself to a Vamo V3. My question is should I buy an ecig as a backup incase something happens?
I've seen solid reviews on the Vamo, but can get an 900mah ego kit for $35. Should I just suck it up and do it?
Also, if you think I should buy it, how do I go about storing the batteries so they last?

I have a ProVari that I keep for at home vaping. I upgraded from the Ego C Twist and I take those along with me to work and keep them charged as a back up. If you're looking for a quality cigalike as a backup look into the Halo G6 series. That's the backup to my backups or when I know I'm going somewhere that even my Ego won't be discreet enough.

I've looked into those, but I'm just not a fan of the way they look and feel. I do like the bigger style e cigs haha.
But, if they're discreet, and carry halo's reputation, I might just have to suck it up haha.

Hello

so what did you have before, can that be a back up ?
I kinda think of a back up as something you could give a friend
and feel good about it. Use your stuff, keep it in some sort of rotation,
funny things happens to stuff that's just sits... :)

I started with an offbrand mistkettle that burnt out on me, sadly haha.
But I had it long enough to know I wanted to upgrade! I'm anxiously awaiting my Vamo now!
I just don't know if it would be silly to backtrack to an ego style kit now haha.
I'd love to get my friends to quit smoking. Especially after hearing them hack up a lung.

Get an ITaste VV by innokin. People love them, it does everything a spinner or ego twist does, but has ohm reader and more features, and is square so won't roll off your desk. Wish I had thought of it before I got the spinners. 800mAH, so you need 2.

Better thing about spinner is you can get 1300mAH, or Twist, 1000mAH, longer batt life but they are a bit baton like

AND OF COURSE YOU NEED BACKUP!!!!!!!!!!! That is cardinal rule #1.

If you do not want to buy another ecig then at least get a bunch of white cloud disposables.

I wouldn't consider it back tracking on getting an eGo for a back up. To do it right, you'll need backups of every piece of equipment including chargers. If you plan to have it sitting in a drawer, it's perfectly fine to have a cheaper device for use in case of emergencies.

I'm betting that most people are like me, they have multiple devices in use all the time. I use three. That way I have three different juices I can vape at the same time. This way I'm always going to have at least one charged up at any given time. If one goes bad, I still have one that I can use while the other is charging. Works well for me.

I am definitely diggin the iTaste haha. I may infact by one of those for an on-the-go mod. And keep 2 900mah spinners as backups!
The vamo just seems a little too big to take everywhere, it may be my in house vape! Haha

Make sure Halo cartridges and such are compatible with your Vamo, I'm thinking they are not. It may not even be important to you, just thought I'd mention it to ya.

Thanks for the heads up! I don't think the halo ones are, but my ego and vivi nova heads should do the trick!

Ahhhh, I'm the weird guy that uses one flavor at a time! Hahaha.
But I'm definitely gonna grab backups.
Thank you! :)

I second this, Itaste vv v3. My main battery, would make a great backup!

Definitely!

Always great to have a backup. I have lots of mods but still have and use ego batteries. Sometimes you want smaller and something light. Like someone said, you might prefer a battery like a twist.

Yeah, I can definitely see that.
Especially with how big the vamo is. I don't always want to be carrying that thing around! Hahaha

That's fine too. I've been known to have the same flavor in two tanks at the same time. That's because I take two PV's to work and one stays at home.

Why not get a mech mod to fit the same batteries? However, you should keep in mind that you will end up with a few egos, a mech, and your VAMO.
I would also suggest a mech mod. Not only can it be a back-up, but also something different to use at times. Many clones are similar in price spinners/regulated mods.

What are your opinions on the iTaste MVP? It caught my eye earlier this morning.
