I like the military-style display of the ProVari. The best part, is that it will still work in 3 months.
I like different favors, as well, which is why I have 2 ProVaris. I still need to buy at least 2 more, though, to accommodate my 4-6 flavor daily rotation.

Hey Steve, I hope you know this little debate is all about just having some fun busting each others balls. Even though I don't have a ProVari, it's clearly obvious that there's no comparison between it and a cheap Chinese clone. For less than I spent on my "real" mech mod (which I don't even use), I could and should have bought a ProVari.

best regards, larry mac

After reading everything in this thread I have to agree with the last two posts before mine (texasguy4 and Snicks) which state that the topper is really what matters at the end of the day. Yes the Provari is the Cadillac of VV mods and it will last forever, feed your children, and all the rest. However, if you put a CE4 on top of it it is going to suck. I started with ego style batteries, made my own mod, and now have started to collect a couple of the Chinese mods (first an SVD and a Vamo 3 is on the way). Eventually I may purchase a Provari, but even now, with all the new equipment I have bought to play with (SVD, Vamo 3, AGA-TD, RSST, 2x Cobra, Bulldog) I still haven't come to the price of the Provari with the extension cap. Perhaps once I have learned a few things I might by the Provari, but until then, I am more than happy and vaping all day long.

Now to the actual question, all 18650 mods are heavy as it is the nature of the beast. However, if your really into light weight the new DNA 20 tube mod (Cyborg) may be the way to go since it's all aluminum and is supposed to be light weight. However from what you said it wasn't just the weight but the size... So moving away from the 18650 battery form factor will probably be your best bet. What devices are best in those battery sizes I will have to let others talk about. For me the 18650 is the only battery that keeps up with my vape. Good luck and don't give up... A little hand work out is a little thing compared to the lung cancer you may be avoiding.... Keep on vaping! :vapor:

So I just wanted to follow up by saying that I got my Evic in last Thursday and it is every bit as amazing as I expected. It is quite well built with quality materials and threading, the OS on it caters perfectly to the geek in me, and it vapes oh so beautifully and consistently. FYI I bought mine from 101vape and received the latest hardware revision(durability improvements) with firmware v1.3 installed. I don't know if its still running but i got a killer deal through the vaporjoes blog.
