Thanks for the advice. I did buy it, although it was the v2 and not the 2.5. I bought it for $50.

I had a chance to try it with the mini nautilus I have, and I loved it! Way better experience than the ego twist!

Now to find a 18650 battery and a charger! Thanks for all your help and advice!

Congratulations!

You can get a Nitecore I2 charger on Amazon for 15 bucks or so. That's what I use and I never had a problem with it.

I use AW IMR batteries from RTD Vapor. But there are newer and possibly better batteries out there.

Good luck!

ETA--I just noticed you're in Canada--you'll have to find a local source for batteries. :D

My 2 1/12 year old Provari V2 still looks new and works like new. I vape 1.8 ohms at 3.7v to 4.5v depending on the juice. Typically, I can go from morning to bed time on a battery vaping all day long. Everywhere I go my Provari is either in my hand or in my pocket. If I go out I carry a plastic dual battery box that holds a filled carto and an 18650 in case I get waylaid and don't get back home in time to charge. I seldom have to use the backup, but it's there.

I've used Provari service once. The fire button was getting a little flaky. When it came back there was positive actuation and deactuation instead of a mushy feel, with no inadvertent menu entries when I vaped. That tells me they changed it to an improved switch design. From the time I dropped it off at the Post Office until it appeared back in my mail box was 5 days. I live diagonally across the country from Washington State, so that tells me they grabbed it from the mail and took in directly into a service queue. Those people are serious about service.
