Hi I am a 28 year old smoker. I have been smoking for 6 years. I smoke winfield red which is a strong cigarette. I have seen an ecigarette online and I think it looks pretty good.
well, the main reason I am writing and joined this forum is to ask current e cigg users whether the e cigg tastes like a cigarette? Do you think it can satisfy me?
Also I was telling my friend about e ciggs and I was s saying its safe. Then he said what about water on the lungs?
Well anyway thanks to anyone who answers me.

It tastes NOTHING like a cigarette. Stop spreading falsehoods.

It takes awhile to adjust, but depending on how much you like the taste of your current cigarettes, over time you might find another flavor you like better.

It is worth a shot in my opinion. Just buy your e-cig from a place you can return it to if you don't like it. Most give you 14 or 30 days.

While no one can truly call e-cigs "safe", I can say from personal opinion that, since I started vaping, I am tobacco free, feeling great, experiencing fewer sinus issues, and breathing much better.

For what it's worth, you're still using nicotine, a poison. You're just delivering said poison in a cleaner form, with PG and VG as the main carrying agent.

As far as flavor, you're not going to get anything that tastes like your chosen brand of cigarettes. You can always try tobacco flavored liquids, but you'll probably be a little disappointed overall. I know I was. Once that disappointment dies, however, you'll start to look at different flavors, and I'm willing to bet you'll be surprised by how much you like some of them.

In my opinion, you should give it a shot. If you don't like it, or you feel like you're not feeling positive effects, you can always quit. Isn't it worth a shot?

No, it's not like smoking a tobacco cigarette, but the ritual and the inhalation of vapor into one's lungs, well, it's close enough for many of us that we can reduce or eliminate tobacco cigarettes.

If you asked me before I started vaping if I liked the taste of my cigarettes, I would have told you, "Of course, I do." Well, after several days of vaping with no tobacco, I lit a tobacco cigarette. Oh. my. God. I simply could not believe how nasty it tasted. Truth is, the taste of tobacco isn't really that great . . . really, to be perfectly blunt, it tastes pretty terrible. But we're so used to it and the good feeling that it gives us, that we just kind of convince ourselves that it tastes good.

With vaping, I've found that I'm enjoying all sorts of different flavors. I started off with tobacco-like flavors, and they were okay (but definitely not even close to a true replica of "real" tobacco in my mind). What shocked me is how much I enjoy some pretty strange flavors . . . coffee, peach cobbler, and strawberry immediately come to mind.

As for whether it's safe, there simply haven't been enough tests done to truly pronounce it as safe. But common sense tells me that it's got to be safer than smoking the 4000+ chemicals contained in tobacco. Also, after only a month of being tobacco-free, I've noticed that my cough is gone, my sinuses are clearer, and I can actually take deep breaths. I'm a former 2+ pack a day smoker (30 years), and in one short month, I already feel so much better.

Also, I've been gradually reducing the strength of my e-liquid. Today, I mostly vaped 0 nicotine juice with a 3 or 4 vaping sessions of medium strength. For me, that's nothing short of amazing.

Should you try it? Well, why not? BBuzzard is right . . . there are places that offer an honest to God money back guarantee if you decide you don't like e-smoking.

Just want to echo everybody elses comments. It'sworth a shot. I smoked over a pack a day for 30 years. One week with the 901 and i went tobacco free and really don't miss it.

I've been mixing my juice down to stretch it further and so most times i'm using a mix of around 10mg.

If you try it and don't like it either return it or post it in the "for sale and swap" section of the forum. Someone will probably take it off your hands.

Thanks all you guys for the replies. I smoke a lot of cigarettes about 25 a day Keef.
I will try to get a electronic cigarette. I am going to buy this model from eciggdotcomdotau and I "think" it is a good one. It looks good. I do so hope it works. I know my smoking is not good for me, so this is better then quitting cause I enjoy it too much. I got a mixed response on how much they taste like real cigarettes so I am anxious to try it and see if it tastes like an cigarette.
